I don’t have room for all of that. I wish I had a big tent outside

What is the difference in that and also using cloning solution? It’s just a question I’m not a good cloner actually just started back. Someone else always done them or I did seeds I’ve been having luck in just straight water

The Blue Dream #2 clone is rooting nicely, still no signs of vegetative growth, none really expected yet as it take 2-3 weeks for that to happen usually.

OK, for the next attempt at getting a clone from Blue Dream #1, going to use Root Riot plugs. A little more expense involved but should have a better success rate.

So 2 cuttings taken from BD1, dipped in clonex gel and stuck in the Root Riot plugs, then putting in a mini domed tray. Will mist inside the dome daily and a squirt or 2 at the Root Riot plugs to keep them moist (not soggy). The Root Riot plugs come moist and ready to go.

On the root riot plugs I read somewhere they dry out fast if you dont use them up quickly. Can you shed any light on that?

I use rapid rooters, which are basically the same as root riots. They come moist. If they dry out, u can just re wet them.

I have some root riot left that I purchased back at the very start of my grow last June. The bag is still moist but I doubt I’ll use any of the remaining ones because I don’t know what may have grown with all that moisture in there.

I had to go to rapid rooters for this one, cut it back a little. Would not go in a cup. Used clone x gel and powder. This morning when I looked.

As long as you keep them in an air-tight enclosure they retain their moisture just fine but they will dry out if left exposed to air or holes in the bag. No biggie, can just re wet them if needed.

Nice! You have a tap root… not a plant yet though… still on life support.
