Heating and ventilation. Just about ready to start second grow

Okay so I have just about everything figured out for my second grow. Only thing really left to figure out is ventilation and heating. I live in Washington state and deal with cold crappy conditions. My “lung room” is an add on addition to the house that has no heating or anything ran to it. There’s only one small window. I rent so I can’t cut holes and run ducting into adjacent rooms. So can I get some cost friendly suggestions on how to get my climate pristine for growing. Are there controllers that can control heaters fans humidifier’s simultaneously? How should my exhaust fan be running? Constantly? Day only? How about the small fans?

Did your snow melt yet? Ours did, today.
I have similiar, ventilation issues.
LSS, open windows allow air movement, for free.
AC-I has all your needs and will complete any grow.
Money is the issue, for most of us, as you know, too.
My AC-I Cloudline Controller 67 Bluetooth, (reaches 20 feet from lung room, thru 2 walls and furniture) .
The Cloudline 69 Pro (Bluetooth/WiFi) won’t WiFi with 5GHZ-Gateway, currently. Capability for independent programinig control of four independent devices.
Bigger is better, Design well and good growing to you.
IslandPNW, Research well and choose wisely. Electricity considerations (both load and cost factors).

My snow did melt. This morning. Thank goodness. I was looking at aci but I don’t have other aci products. So I wouldn’t be able to connect to it. What island are you on? I’m right on the point.

More important than "the other products.
Grow (lung room dimensions?) room Legal?
Owner of house involved? (Fight Club Violation!).
Your ability to control air utilized for ventilation is the issue, after settling above issues.
Noise? Neighbors? so many other issues, dude, good luck. I been 9 months, here, still getting new grow lessons and issues, before wife wants to go to Disney, and relatives, and Mt Rushfkingmr.

How did you grow your first grow?
Weekly, I re-configure ore buy more something, to achieve pristine conditions, for grow and wife.

Idk what you mean by legal. No owner isn’t involved. Idk why that’s a violation. Noise don’t matter. Neighbor loves my weed lol.

My first grow was started in a closet, then moved to a tent in my mother in laws shop (which was inconvenient at 30 minutes away) under Hps/mh lights

Any thoughts or suggestions.

There are but not all three at once. There are inkbird controllers that can activate heating/ cooling, humidifiers/dehumidifiers. They won’t do much for fans though. I keep the fans running 24/7. My exhaust turns off when my lights do. My intake runs 24/7.

I ran a tent in my garage for a while. It was a pain in the butt because it had no AC/heat and limited insulation. I set up an old oil filled radiator heater right by the intake and had the exhaust fan blowing near the intake so I lost minimal heat.

I also ran my lights at night so I could make the most of the heat generation - get your lights going an hour before the cold starts to set in and go for maximum output + maximum height for as long as possible, even in early veg if you can.

Thanks for throwing that tip in with the lights. This will be my first grow with LEDs so I am a bit nervous for the amount of heat. In the past I had the Hps/ mh and never had heat issues except for lights out. Which I would drop like 20*. So 90% of people say keep your lights close to canopy and adjust dimmer. Just making sure I am getting this right, you’re saying raise my light as high as possible and put the dimmer to 100%. My only question to that is heat rises and with and exhaust on constantly wouldnt that just suck out all my heat since my exhaust/filter are at the top?

To generate the most heat, that’s how I’d do it. You may need to lower the light height as she grows to increase the intensity for the plant, or you may also need to back off on the dimmer at the very beginning while she’s real little, but I honestly doubt it (for the 2nd option)

That’s why you’ll want to get a heater near the intake, even set on low it’ll mitigate heat loss, and also exhaust the tent air near the intake as well. You’ll be warming your lung room a bit but a whole lot less than if you just tried to run heaters for the entire uninsulated room.

Most LEDs run much cooler than most bulbs. If you’re used to managing HPS/MH, you’ll be golden.

Awesome. Thanks for the tips. Ol give it a shot and see what happens!

Looks like they have you covered. I have an ac infinity exhaust and controller. Its set to run anytime my tent RH or temp goes above my set points. A separate controller for my dehumidifier and a intake that runs 24/7. I grow in a tent thats normally cold but my fans and lights warm it up pretty good in that area now that I have 2-5x5’s. I run my exhaust out of my tents and up an other unused chimney. Im still aleays tweaking things as the seasons change .
