Absolutely fucked tonight, so just a real quick one. Moved tent across basement floor. Everything good and nothing knocked over. Everything looks in place height wise for lights etc. Here’s the photos and they’re moving along well.
Oh yeah. They’re on flowering day 17 today.
Day 18 flowering. Could of watered them today, but I wanted to spend time with my wife and kids tonight. They are good for another day anyhow. Well, I’m going tomorrow to put a deposit down on a new rental house tomorrow morning. Should be fun, having to move them to a new home, bah. I’ve decided to get 3 sturdy boxes big enough for their LST sizing, and anchor them inside. To each 8 corners. Ensuring there is little movement in their boxes to cause damage. Putting them in cardboard boxes should help suck in moisture as well for their short journey, and I’ll put towels under their drip trays to help with moisture as well. Since I know my setup now, I can get everything down, labeled together, and set back up quickly. I’m hoping to do the move during the lights out time, and be able to complete the set up and transfer. When the lights are due to come on normally. It’s such a risky thing to deal with, but I don’t have a damn choice.
Good luck with moving your girls. Moving is such a pain in the ass
Yeah good luck with ur move!
I took my plants on 2 roundtrip roadtrips, over 500 miles each, on the absolute worst road in Alaska, up & down mountains.
Your move will be fine. ![]()
Damn, that’s some travel time. How old were yours at the time? Also, any tips from your move?
They were moved during seedling & veg stage, so quite a bit smaller. I put them in a box so they wouldn’t slide around…at all. They did not move an inch the whole drive. Also, no more than cracked the windows so the wind wouldn’t tear them apart. Other than that, I didn’t do anything special. My dog, my stuff, and myself were loaded up with the plants, and off we went.
I made sure to water them before I left, and once we stopped, I gave them some tlc, too…I was using b52 on them, which is good for alleviating stress.
Alright then, for my 20 minute journey tops with traffic. I’m doing a whole boxed setup lol. You’d swear. There’s like a gyroscope for a chopper or jet being transported in this thing haha. Given their plant training, and the size their flowers will probably be, I don’t want to risk to much damage. They’ll be just over half way through flowering, by the time we move. The stretch should be finishing, I think anyhow.
Alright, well the girls should of been watered last night, bit they’ll bounce back and look fucking awesome again tomorrow. Just a bit droopy tonight. Not a huge deal, and only less than 24hrs of it. Needed to spend more time with my wife and kids in the evening the past couple nights. I’m going to change up the light schedule on the next grow, so I can do all the maintenance. When, I’m having time to myself normally.
They look great, keep it up! ![]()
Thanks mate, Sunday will be week of flowering, so I think, I will be seeing some big bud growth in about a week or so, with these white widows. 8 to 9 weeks are their harvest time, and these girls seem like fast maturers lmao, but I shall see with the close up pictures. When the time comes.
Sunday will be 3 weeks down and 5 or 6 to go
So, maybe my anxiety does get the best of me. Not seeing them for a day makes them look even bigger now. Specially, since it was a feeding day. When I checked on them last. They look great. Haven’t did any of my measurements yet, but the buds have made some nice growth, and since tomorrow is week 4, I’d say they’ll be having some pretty good bud growth this week, I believe, and Hope! Canopy is pretty even still. If I had the time, and wasn’t fucking about with moving, I’d try and get the main colas a little flatter, but for a first timer, I gotta be happy with this. I was worried with not being down yesterday, and keeping lights at minimum level I can, I’d burn some, but doesn’t look like it. So far, happy days, it looks like it.
Alright, alright, week 4 started this morning. I think, I’ll be seeing some big bud growth this week with the girls. If I remember right. It’s the 4th week, white widow get their first bud growth spurt. Twas another watering day, and it’s been real nice. Knowing that I’d have to have my feed mixed up today already. Before even checking on them. Major time saver! When you’re brand new. Everything takes twice, even three times longer to do. Taking care of these girls though. Are not just spraying this object. I’ve actually grown to care for them, and that’s shocked the living fuck out of me!!! Killing everything in the two vegetables gardens I’ve tried before, I was worried starting this, but it’s been wild. Here they are tonight. Oh yeah, I decided to start adding unsulphered molasses, and I’ll be doing a 1:1 flush week 6 day 1, week 7 day1, and so on until harvest and just do pH’d water until harvest.
Didn’t move the lights today actually. The temps are actually still really good with the fan on the canopy. No sign of wind burn. They look healthier, and have bigger buds. The light isn’t to close either by my letter either so I feel happy leaving another 24hrs.
Beautimus !!
Man they’re packing on weight and looking good. Keep it up.
