I ran out of ocean Forrest and happened to be by a hydro store so I stopped in. They weren’t receiving a new shipment until the following week. He said this big rootz is the only think he uses anymore. He said, like OF, it’s water only until mid-late flower stage but is even safe to start seeds in. I’m going to give it a shot. Just curious if anyone has worked with it.

Will do. I have an amnesia haze that will be going in the OF since I already have that 5gal pot prepped. But have a white widow started in 80/20 basic potting mix/ OF. That will go in the big rootz come transplant time. I have blueberry autos on the way that I’ll start and finish in the big rootz.

Also picked up some slf-100 if anyone is familiar with that. It’s a once a week additive that is supposed to prevent deposit build ups.
I actually just created a new topic asking about the same soil i did not see this or i would not have. But you like what you been getting from the soil so far?
Big roots worked just fine but the stores around that supplied it were inconsistent. Had bags one month, had nothing for a few months. I’ve been on Roots Organic original forever now. Have never had a letdown from that medium and it’s always easily available for me.
