Harvesting early help Please

So I have fencing around my plants to keep my outside dog out of my plants…well the bastard literally knawed through the fencing and chewed all my plants at the base and pulled them up. Luckily I didn’t have anything on me to shoot him with when I found them…

So I washed every bud and went ahead and hung them to dry. The Tricomes were just starting to turn milky. Am I wasting my time drying them to cure? From everything I’ve read etc they weren’t ready for harvest but I hate to throw them out…

Do you see me crying right now…I’m still so pissed at my dog I’d like to strangle him. Definitely redesigning my plant enclosure and future greenhouse.

Thanks

That’s a bummer ! You’re not the first person that had to harvest early for different reasons Frost ,mold, Bud rot. And you won’t be the last. I would go ahead and dry and cure. I look at it like this some is better than nothing. I have had deer come along and just rub them out in veg stage leave nothing but the stock at the bottom it happens. You might even use some of it in edibles. Good luck

That sucks. Typically dogs get sick off of it and won’t go near it again.

Having something to smoke and have for your hard work is better than nothing IMO. Try a sample after the water is dry. You’ll likely be surprised.

well that sucks! Dogs will get sick as dogs if they eat a roach or an edible, generally thca will not cause issues, if you carb it then you have a sick assed animal.

Yeah man just dry it up and or make edibles. Bummer but no real loss. A loss is not having anything at all and that would be terrible after all your hard work. A few grows ago I had my first hermie plant that pollinated my tent. I was crushed but was the seedy weed still some dank…yes so dont count yourself out.

I had a boxer that did the same thing except the leaves. He would sit & watch till I was done rolling & he knew he could have my stems. He was an excellent dog/family member/protector of my daughters.

Bandit is a total sweetheart, cuddle bunny and protector…but I swear he got into my plants just to piss me off. Probably cause I didn’t let him in the house that night while I was working…lol
