Harvest advice on my Gold Leaf autos

My BGL autos are 81 days old, my trichomes are clear/cloudy, no amber yet.

Pistils are mostly brown and leaves have changed, I’m just worried about waiting another week perhaps, is that too long?

Nah growmie, wait 2 weeks if you want. If you want all cloudy, check in a week, in you want amber/cloudy it could be 2 to 3. The color change is completely normal. Bring out the crayons! I shoot for colors at the end of my grows.

Thank you, that’s what I wanted to know. As a new grower the plants LOOK ready, all fiery and frosty. This is where it takes experience and discipline not to f up and cut em’ too early. I guess I’m doubting whether Autoflower turns amber or not. A breeder I follow was saying something to that affect. I’m glad to wait, these are my first and I’m beyond thrilled with my results.

Looking good, I’d definitely wait at least another week, and check trichs again.

Looking good! Give it a little more time as chitty said.

If that’s the only plant in the grow space I’d like to suggest turning down light intensity because it appears your plant is beginning to foxtail.

You can turn down both intensity and/or duration to encourage it to finish off without the foxtails. You can look at required DLI (daily light interval) for the last few weeks to calculate what would work best assuming you have the ability to measure your light intensity.
