H&G root excelulator

anyone have any experience with H&G root excelurator gold.
I want to increase my root mass to get the largest possible yield but I was wondering if there is anything cheaper and just as effective? any suggestions or wisdom on this topic?

Unsure of cost difference but mycorrhizae works just fine for this.

haven’t heard of mycorrhizae and I cant find it forsale online…

@BobbyDigital

This is just one example, the one I use.

Xtreme gardening has free samples (Just pay shipping) on their site. Comes with mykos, azos and a bunch of other stuff. From your avatar it looks like you may be in Canada so not sure if they ship there.

is it the same thing as a growth hormone?
@BobbyDigital

It’s a fungi that causes explosive root growth. More roots, more fruits. It also helps prevent transplant shock.

which is better great white or root excelulator

It’s apples and oranges. They’re used in conjunction with each other. Mycorrhizae has done its job for me so haven’t needed any additional stimulators.

how much does it require per gallon?

@BobbyDigital

I don’t use the stuff but read it was 1ml per gallon. Or were you talking the mycorrhizae? If you’re talking the mycorrhizae, I sprinkle a scoop (5ml) in the transplant hole and on the root ball before transplant. Then add 2.5ml per gallon of water once a week during veg

Best explanation I’ve seen so far. Spot on too!

does great white come with a scoop?

@BobbyDigital

Mine did. It’s just a teaspoon scoop.

Is that like “mykos” ???

Yeah, but it’s more powdery which helps it stick the the transplant hole walls better. And it dissolves in water unlike mykos.
