GSC Auto Day 56 Possible Deficiency

She looks really good. I recall when I grew this strand it was a lot of frost. You definitely have a lot of white pistols left. Keep up the good work

I just noticed one of the smaller center colas has some orange bumps on some of the leaves. I don’t see them anywhere else and I haven’t found any bugs. Do you think could be something natural on the plant or could it be some kind of fungus?

Looks like a little nutrient burn here and there and possibly some end of life features starting to come through. (All totally normal nothing to be concerned with)

Do you have a picture of the whole plant

It’s wonderful how nice it came out. What’s the percentage of pistols that are still White?

The lower half has has only about 50% white hairs left, but the top is still 70-80% white

Do me a favor, take a picture of this up close zoomed in.

Have you noticed that you’re getting new white hair (Pistols) growth?

Yeah, it’s definitely has still been growing

The top pic is today and the one below is 7 days ago so it seems to be still filling out, but maybe it’s done now

I am incredibly familiar with this strain. I’ve grown entire tents of this. Your buds are starting to foxtail. I would estimate 85% of I❤️GM GSCE Auto’s foxtail. 100% of my GSCE foxtailed.

She’s definitely not done. On this strain every plant took 13 to 14 weeks in flower (just letting you know that’s what happened in mine)

What intensity is your light on 100% ?

I’ve been thinking it might be foxtailing. I’ve read quite a bit about it and how it’s not necessarily a bad thing and that some growers try to get it. Good to know that it could be quite a while. My light is still at 100% intensity and I have it about 16” from the tallest bud so it’s about the recommended 18” from a majority of them

And what week of flower are you in?

I’d say midway through week 6

I simply come to accept foxtailing. If you’re growing auto flowers it’s going to happen. I personally believe it’s 90% genetics and 10% environment.

It doesn’t affect your potency it’s just extra weed. Buds growing on top of buds. The downside it makes it a little more difficult to check your trichomes. We can get around that.

16 in is fine. Reduce your light to 75% finish week 6 regularly as you would on your feeds.

In week 7 eliminate calcium magnesium and reduce your feed intake by 50%

We can reevaluate everything going into week 8

In my personal opinion foxtailing is the genetics results of Cannabis Ruderalis (the autoflower)

Sounds good, I’ll turn the light down a little bit.

I have been pretty interested in autoflowers, but I am planning on doing a photoperiod for my next grow.
