Growing with Gl1tch

I’m not sure without that paper. I’m pretty sure sex was set within like 15 days +_ of germ

Awesome. And thanks guys for getting my lazy ass reading.

This is the article I found based off the paper that I read a few years before. Like I said, he gets in the abstracts that I have not seen scientific pages on, so I wishs he would’ve listed his sources.

great info guys. That all seems to agree with what I’ve seen in my personal experience. I used to go straight to soil without much thought about temp. They would just be around 65-70 degrees with a dome over them and I never had issues. I had to start buying seeds and I started having problems with germination. Bumping up temps did fix the germination issue but I started ending up with almost all males so I went to fem seeds. Now we’ve come full circle and I’m trying to get back to a system that works well for regs. I’m fairly sure by this point that my germination problems were a result of crappy seed banks rather than the environment in my grow room.

The only fem seeds I have were gifts. My reg collection is massive and some should probably get narrowed and auctioned.

Edit: Nothing beats a cool white T5 for germs

I’d like to get back to that point. I feel I’ve given the fems a fair shake and reg seeds are objectively better. Sadly I lost my collection of good seeds a while back and most of the breeders I know gave up when legalization struck. so It’s just been whatever I can buy for quite some time.

I’m starting to see that now after having fought with several different LEDs for seedlings. I think I’m going back to the floros this round to see if that helps.

Saw you lookin for them ol skool genetics. Check out Dominion for solid heavy hitting classics. Genetic charts are tiny and not all inbred modern bottleneck. I have these to fire off.

Pretty sure Dynasty/Relic just dropped. Another to look into

Might try some dominion seeds my next round after the hash plant. I feel like a lot of the newer genetics have been so intermingled that they loose a lot of their unique traits that makes an individual pheno/geno so special.

I saw Professor P released some of Nevil’s old IBL. Fire I’d love to setup a trade for. Got some PuckBC2 F2’s worked out.

Strain Name: Super Silver Haze BX1

I have a buddy that would give his left nut for some good SSH. Sure wish I had some money burn on seed stock. A feller could go broke quick.

Just a random question from a female, why is it always the left one ? Lol :joy:

Most people are right handed. Gotta keep one close and within reach :joy:

I think that pretty much describes 50% of the conversations I’ve had in the last few years.
I get it. I’m a few grand in myself and I still haven’t really dug in. I think breeding is the next project after I get the organic situation figured out. Good seeds are quite literally worth their weight in gold.

because the left one hangs lower and is therefore the one that gets smashed every time I sit down.

I regret asking :joy:

the second golden rule. Don’t ask questions you don’t want answers to.

I wanted an answer but wasn’t expecting that answer, just trying to pick the male brain sometimes
