The fem plants and female regs are starting to show a few buttons to them now so thats good to take note of
Couple weeks ill be adding pollen to some of them
Woo hoo
Down side its a sign summers winding down again
Up side lots of yummy buds to smoke in tbe not so distant future

Double figures next year
Yes always sad when someone passes
It was a little sudden in this case
As she was 12 years younger than my mother in-law who 96
But probably a blessing as she was showing signs of dementia setting in
And that be cruel for everyone concerned
It must be hard being the oldest of siblings and your younger brothers and sisters pop off before you
My mother in-law had a great time catching up with relatives and friends she hasnt seen in years
So thats a silver lining i guess
They are staying at my mother in-law youngest sisters place and its been great for my wife as she been able to leave her mum with the sister and get some free time for herself
Usually now we can be down to 1/2 hr stints where we can do anything without her.
She still thinks she 30 in a lot of ways
But clearly 96 lol
So lovely having this conection with you

96! I pray for that long a life, Iām mid forties. My mother died in Jan 2022 aged 66, which seems really young to me now. Hubs still got grandparents, theyāre 91 & 94yrs young, but his dad died 10 days after he turned 65, 10 days before my mother died 2022. So his grandparents had to bury their youngest of two, both sons. I love talking with people of that era, they lived a different life to us

I know what you mean about the age thing
It all seems old when your younger but when we get older it seems that age we thought was old is actually young 
Not sure i want to be 96
Maybe if im in sound mind and able bodied
Really donāt want to be dependent on people.
I started writing notes to remind myself what its like for younger people to be around aged people.
My mother in-law insists she can still light the fire inside claiming she been lighting fires since she was 10
But clearly putting burning logs into the wood basket thats under the table with a table cloth hanging down not a good sign
She doesnāt understand why we dont want her playing with the fireplace
And going for walks without us or a walking stick
Then she does exactly that and then falls over and cant get up.
Listen to those that are caring for you
They mean well is another note for myself lol

Planted out my one and only female

Finally after maybe 15 seeds i get a female
A few didnāt geminate a couple died the rest have been male until now
Not the greatest odds for regular seeds
Ill have to look after her now and get some seeded and non seeded flower from her
Upsized her into 56 lt bag 15 gal bag and gave her some good real-estate to grow and flourish
Got a few other males separated from the nursery
Time to start putting out the girls in there forever homes

Forgot to mention i upsized a female blackberry moonrock x black sugar yesterday as well
Im a bit disappointed that ive not experienced black sugar
That was one of those plants that was ment to be a girl plant and turned out to be a monster male
An oh well moment
May as well save the pollen and use it situation
Donāt know what the percentage is of both strains genetics when crossing strains
Is the host plant more dominant or the donor plants pollen carrying more genetics or is it more hit and miss bit like reg seeds

The males usually pass 10-20āish percent to the female, but dominance of traits can still come from either. Itās almost always the female influence, but rarely some males have been known to overpower the cross.

Havested the last of the apeshit tripshine pollen
And i got heaps of it
So far its looking like the last apeshit is a girl so when she gets a bit older and wizer im going to pollenate her with apeshit pollen 
Make some baby apeshits and trip shine away

Planted out one of the brown dirt ghostwalkers this evening in a way ive always wanted to experiment with
And thats along the ground horizontal
Its long amd lanky like me but the node spacing pretty good 
For the flowers to reach for the sky
Low profile hard to see from the air by the choppers or wondering eyes
Here she is here.
I put it in a bag and buried the bag incase i have to take it away in autumn
