Welcome freind.
So you will need several things if you want to be successful.
Ph meter
Tds meter
Nutrients and some other things along the way but thats the basics to get started.
And that hydroponics system you have is called “AeroGarden”.
Some people do grow in them but it’s really to small and even with only 1 plant in it, once it does mature and begin to flower, that little thing will need filled daily possible multiple times a day, cannabis can use alot of water and nutrients.
These are great for germination and then move the plants into a larger hydroponic bucket.
Search “AeroGarden” in the search bar and you will find lots of information and see people’s grows with them.
For cannabis you need something bigger.
Here’s one with most of the stuff you’d need to get going.
Spider Farmer Grow Tent Kit Complete 2x2x5ft SF1000D Samsung Diodes Full Spectrum Grow Tent Complete System 24"X24"X55" Indoor Grow Tent Kit 1680D Canvas with 4" 200CFM Inline Fan Carbon Filter
But depending on your needs you may need something more/less.
What are you working with as far as space to setup??
Your DWC system would be something like this.
5 Hydroponic Buckets Kit for Plants, Top Feed Drip Hydroponics Growing System for Herbs/Tomato/Vegetables, DWC System with Submerged Pump (Complete Indoor Hydroponic Gardening Supplies)
Perfect. No space restrictions. Just bought a 4x2 tent and 3 gal buckets. Auto seeds. First time growing. I plant on transplanting to the 3 gal tomorrow. Much more complex then I expected
Welcome to the forums and thus the community, growing is much more complex than most give it credit. It will take time and effort as well as money but the learning process and the reward is something that you will never regret or forget.
There as so many different methods you can go with and so many different products.
Did you buy the spider farmer kit or just a different tent? Heads up your going to want an AC infinity duct fan due to its controller, this will make many processes much easier so I highly recommend ensuring you get one of those.
Also an aphera PH meter kit, one with calibrating fluid. PH meters are a little pricey but a good one is worth its weight in gold when it comes to growing.
Since your doing hydro the learning curb will be steeper but you’ll learn faster by failing more and ultimately the growth will be unmatched if you can prefect it. Sometimes building your own system is better due to function and cost @Myfriendis410 and @peachfuzz will be more help with that.
For now I would say get a PH meter, a TDS meter (doesn’t matter to much which one), figure out what nutrient you want to use (Jack’s is recommended due to cost savings and performance, ask more about this if your interested we can tell you what to buy)
And ensure your setup is what you want before you open boxes and can’t return things.
The little seedlings you have growing are growing so far so keep it up.
Early on its important to keep humidity high and the air warm, print off a cannabis VPD chart to understand where you want your humidity and temperature to be ideally for each phase.
Also download photone on your phone (use sunlight setting in the app) and measure your DLI (daily light intrical) to choose your lights height and power as the DLI is the real measurement you’ll want to focus on.

Ask questions but do alot of reading, it will be your best use of time.
So I’ve never used those seed plugs you have but i dont believe they are supposed have souch of the tap root exposed. Heck that one is completely upside-down
The last one will need to very gently be flipped over and try to get that tap root into the plug if you can.
The others that have roots in the plugs I think could just be supported a little bit any way you can, a bent paper clip would work great I believe.
I use rockwool cubes and when roots pop out the top or if something like this happen, i would simply tare of some rockwool and lay it over the roots till get them setup in the final pot.

I appreciate the info. I’m actually reading many forums now. I’m willing to spend a few $ ( up to 1k) to get started correctly. Considering buying a complete grown kit as well. Using white widow auto
Thanks again
I would look into AC infinity items, much better than anything else really.
Although don’t purchase their lights.
Spider farmer is okay, for lights, good starting point decent value a little pricey for me I like LED’s straight from led manufacturers in China like kingbrite.
Also don’t buy to many seeds, just enough to grow currently. As you learn more about genetics you will want to buy other stuff.
These 2 may not make it, they apear to have “dampen off” or rotted somehow,
But the others look good, the one seems to have rooted just fine, the other one is a strong little sucker to have rooted in such a fashion like it has and doesn’t seem to mind at all, its still turning up to the sky
The upside-down one seems to have a healthy root on it but obviously it can’t live upside-down
Long as you dont break the root it should be just fine if ya get it flipped over in the hole kinda, dont poke it to much it will find its way
Keep that reading around others posts and you’ll find your path.
I’m an Autopots guy myself for the simplicity of them but nothing wrong with any dwc
I’m sure the roots will eat this tiny pump inside them but I figure I could modify them easily with a separate reservoir.
Im going stick some clones in them as is this weekend.
If i can ever finish my basement, it will be rdcw but these autopots saved the day in these tents and working full-time
I have pushed 4 things on this site heavily and it seems all four have been adopted for the most part now.
AutoPots
Dry bulk nutrients, aka jacks (@imSICKkid helped with this for sure)
DLI
VPD
Its a recipe for easy success.
I work away for weeks at a time so autopots finally allowed me to fill 50 gallons of water and have my wifey do alot less work than before. Normally just raising the lights or adjusting the PH in the tank once a week. However we have left for 17 days and the grow survived. Just filled up the reservoir, and ph’d it low when we left.
Came back and it still had water and needed to be ph’d + lights raised.
Top watering and collecting that water is a silly process, as is growing organic for small indoor grows Imo its not worth the hassle
