I use fabric pots. Won’t use anything else.

I mix my own soil.
4 parts coco coir
1 part composted manure
1 part perlite

So guys, are fabric pots made from plastic bottles? Those are the only ones i know. I wasnt crazy about those. Thanks for all of your input, my Ghanja Gurus

I use five gallon fabric pots and i use a mix of Coco coir and peat moss and perlite mix with worm castings and bat guano and volcanic rock dust fertilizer

I also use fabric pots. The price and selection from 247Garden is hard to beat (Nonwoven fabric made with new polyester and polypropylene).
Medium: Canna coco bricks and perlite.
I am going the give rain science pots a try in my next top feed grow (“they are made of plastic coated polyester”)

Try to source your soil locally you will save a lot of money that 31 dollar bag of happy frog will be 21 if you can find at a local garden center

If you’re growing auto flowers, there’s a brand of grow bags on Amazon called Viagrow. Their grow bags are slightly taller and a bit narrower than most of the other brands. Autos like a taller pot, and the overall quality of them is very good.

I’m using knockoff airpots. I have Maxx Yield Power Pot “3 gallon equivalents” that are actually about 2.5 gallons and an AutoExpress 10 gallon.

I second the Fabric pots I use the 5gal and 3gal ones.

Yep fabric pots, all the way,
2 depending on what you are growing photos or autos and the size of your space. Photos definitely 5gal, autos you could get away with 3 gallons and save soil and space
3 I use fox farm, ocean forest in bottom mix with perlite, and fox farm happy frog on top, mixed with some root stimulant for an extra boost

I actually invested $60 into, im sorry, plastic nursery 3 gallon pots. I have 2 autos and 2 fem. I will see how the plastic does in comparison to the fabric. Today was a momentous day 4 me, all 4 seeds are poking through the medium. They all made it and now i have seedlings. I have a few weeks to prepare their next environment. I thought i saw someone post as an additive lava dust? Is that azomite? Can i add some of that to my big pots soil?

So I have no ideal on the lava dust, but congrats on your baby’s, also when they are young they need high humidity while they establish their roots, they will get most of there water through there leaves. A lot of people make the mistake of over watering. Just throwing that out there. Best of luck and happy growing
