With FFOF you should have to feed her til week 5 or so. At that point it’ll be nutrients for flowering. I find the best thing to do with autos is: don’t baby them, let them do their own thing, if you can avoid trimming fan leaves do so. Try tucking them under if possible, and the main thing and the biggest mistake new growers make is don’t over water. Also, when feeding, use 1/2 the recommended amount. Next run, use a 5 gallon pot. Your yield will be better.

Not for nothing, but isnt big bloom salt based? With organics, you don’t have to water to runoff as you don’t want to flush the beneficial microbes out of your soil. However, with synthetic, salt based nutrients, you need to water to runoff to ensure your roots don’t get locked out. I think that would be tough to find the right line there, but I’m certain there are folks here who either have experimented with this, or actively do it themselves.

If you want to do it all organically I’ve gotten it done feeding with the dry amendments instead of the bottles. I used a 4-8-4 flower blend and top dressed with that and worm castings like every 2 weeks during flower. I did need extra cal-mag.

You’re good to go for 5-6 weeks. Top dress at week 6 and week 9. I recently grew an auto organically and top dressed a week to early but still came out good.

I’m not sure that matters with autos anymore. Traditionally I use 5s but my 3 biggest autos were all in 3s. Coincidence

On my last auto run I did 1 girl scout cookie and 1 Grape Ape in a 3 gall pot and 1 of each in a 7 gall pot. Both plants in the 7 gall were significantly bigger with a much lager yeild.

I think i got some wind burn i did redirect my fan

@CurrDogg420 pointed out that your nutrient isn’t an organic nutrient…

Just wanted to make sure you caught this, knowing what direction you want to go and why will help us assist you.

Your in soil so your container size is more about giving nutrients then anything else, a larger container of soil will have a larger amount of nutrients to sustain your plant for longer. Eventually nutrients will have to be supplementer however unless you grow in a 12g + pot.

Learn to water by weight, lift your pot up and feel the mosture level, it will take a couple times but you will learn quick. However for now the plant is so small just burry your finger to the second nucke and see if you can feel mosture.

Keeping your VPD in check will be key, 79f and about 70% humidity will greatly increase your growing rate. Cooler and dryer Temps lead to slwo growth.

I’ve 4 autos in a 2 x 4 with a G8LED 240 with no humidifier. Currently, my VPM by season runs 30% to 40% during the winter. Fear of short-circuiting my G8LED lamp prevented a humidifier in the tent. I mist plants when the lamp is off. Should I mist plants with the grow lamp on?

My plants are maintaining a healthy green color. I’m using Ocean Forrest & 3-gallon fabric pots.

Big Bloom is organic (OMRI) 0 - 0.5 - 0.7
