That’s who it was. He ran that table of solos.
I was Wondering the same. I thought he was referring to @RightAway
I get confused easily
I didn’t originally post here because of WhT happened before when I stepped on a journal.
@dbrn32 replied, I messed up the NPK ratio giving it a bloom booster. I thought it looked like a calcium deficiency and immediately thought that , because I never gave it any calcium with Jacks , but jacks has plenty of calcium so I wasn’t sure what to do. I think potassium toxicity looks the same as calcium deficiency, im guessing because in fact that the high ph of potassium might be locking out the calcium???so I did not do anything yet.
I think what im supposed to do is just go back to the 3-2-1 ?
Man im sorry for posting this here but thanks for asking
I could mess up a wet dream lol
Thats why @dbrn32 is the Guru and we are but unworthy followers. You can always post whatever you want here.
Yessir!
I think this is what ended up with.
I said RAP on Low’s about pot size don’t matter. Thanks for exercising the search that I was too lazy to do. That button really could be used a lot more on here. Nope tag.
I gave up recommending search bar about 2-3 years ago. I will do it myself or let lack of response take it’s natural course haha!
It is somewhat clumsy to use. It won’t show results that I know I posted and use the filters on. I can understand tagging, but the noobs really should think about it first
Also note that phosphates can lockout calcium. And completely separate issue, but coco allowed to get dry can cause calcium issues as well.
I agree that running 321 recipe usually provides enough calcium that you shouldn’t see calcium issues. Outside of whatever is already mentioned today in this thread, maybe a vpd issue could cause some nutrient uptake issues as well.
VDP Is a ongoing issue lol. All I have to do is sneeze and it changes lol. Well not that bad but you know. I’m try to keep it around 1.3 or lower for the stage I’m in but it’s swings between 1.3 to 1.45 KPa
It could be drying out now between feedings not sure. 3 gallon fabric. I only been feeding once as soon as lights come on around 1 gallon does it for it with adequate run off. What do you suggest from here. I was thinking just get back to the basics. 3-2-1 100% , and add a feed 7 hours into the 12/12 lights on cycle.
What would you do ? Thanks
Thank brother I will try and make it short.
Check plants halfway through light cycle. If they’re dry at this point you could try adding another feeding. When you guve the gallon around lights on are you pouring slow so that your solution doesn’t run off top and leak out sides of pot? 1-1.5 gallons should be reasonable for plant in 3 gallon pot as long as its not leaking out.
Any time I’m confident I have a nutrient or ph issue in coco i flush and reset nutrients. It’s too easy to not do it.
Thanks just seen this. Yes I believe I’m watering slow I let it soak in then add a little more and so on. I will also step up the amount of water to 1 1/2 gallon.
Flushing Coco I seen to make up a 300 pm solution 150 Ppm of calmag and 150 of nutes
I also seen other ways I don’t have a flushing agent yet but just ordered floraklean by GH How do I flush coco please??
I just run distilled, ro, or ph’d water through until there is low runoff ppm or my ph is at desired point. For a 3 gallon pot plan on 10 gallons or so.
Do I follow up with a feeding? My Ppm is 1300 - 1400 Ppm
Desired or recommended for flower is around 1000 from what I seen
Yes. That seems high for 321 recipe too. What is ppm of your water before you mix? And you are weighing out your fertilizer on a gram scale? In ro or distilled 321 recipe is +/- 950ppm for me.
Im guessing you meant runoff is 1300-1400 then. This isn’t alarming by itself, but when you’re having issues hard to say.
I had the same problem, looked identical to yours! My solution was 1 teaspoon of lime per 5 gallons of coco. I also full dose cal/mag from start to finish in coco.
Coco is a magnet for calcium!! Sometimes just holding on to it not allowing the plant to take it, it’s not a jack’s nutrient issues, just the way coco likes to be.
The small amount of lime will help stabilize it ph and not allow much ph drifts between feeds.
Now I run start to finish without a single leaf blemish! In the first picture you can see the issue, in the second was the difference it made for me.
With a ppm of 1,400 don’t be afraid to get them temps up, lights up, they have plenty of food for more metabolism.
Good luck brother! Your plants look amazing !
Yes 1300-1400 was runoff sorry. Thanks again
