Growdocs first journal, yall asked for it…

I believe that’s how Permetherin works also but I could be wrong. It actually doesn’t kill the bugs but paralyzes them forever until they die. Imagine starving to death with a full course steak dinner in front of you but you can’t move.

I also use Pyrethrim, it’s like Permethrin but comes from plant extract, safe right up to harvest.

You are correct, it’s a neurotoxin to mites.

Couple of bud shots this morning, starting to see a lil amber in the one pic, next weekend will probably be it, 8 weeks on the money, just like the Moms!

Those are loaded with with the funny honey cones!

Recommended treatment plan approved.
Thank you.

Don’t have any,

yet.

The infestation needs removal, for sure.
Appreciated.

Giggle crystals….

They are like little erasers that you ingest that go straight to the brain between the synapse and eats everything up so you can relax and refocus… That’s what I always called the hits of blotter acid I used to get in sheets of 100. I called them “Mind Erasers” and would use it for medicinal purposes and would set up for “set & setting” after mentoring under Dr. Timothy Leary. Very smart man and very misunderstood! God bless his sole!

In all due respect, you are very wrong. Please review this Material Safety Data Sheet. Pyrethrin-sds.pdf

Spider Mites & Cannabis - How to Identify & Get Rid of Them Quickly!

I will definitely check that out, I had read in several places that it was much safer than permethrin on veggies til day of harvest and more recently on cannabis too. Thank you for lookin out for my health, definitely gonna do more research on it! Thanks Pougue.

Did a quick search and found both for and against but also it’s been banned for cannabis use. Back to Spinosad and no pest strips!

Babies are reaching for the light, the Apple Fritter that didn’t germ has been replaced with another seed and has made its grand entrance.

Pyrethrum was a valuable aid in its day, but not for its kill. I used it as a dust behind cabinetry and shelving and into wall voids to inspect for german cockroaches. If they were there, they quickly showed themselves. As an actual product to kill roaches, it was not terribly effective. Many roaches reach a sub-lethal dose and just move deeper, it has virtually no residual (>1 hour), it is terribly expensive. It is grown in the Congo and availability vanished during political and tribal instability. This lead to pyrethroids as an alternative and they have been very successful in agriculture.

Pyrethrum is what I have, not Pyrethrin, I was thinking they were the same. I use Permethrin as a fly repellent around the animals. Thanks again for bringing this up, it cleared up my confusion!

Never mind, they are similar, Pyrethrum is a plant extract but contains pyrethrins. Ok, I’m confused again, so I won’t use it when I’m not sure…. Found this

Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide, while pyrethrum is a natural insecticide, and pyrethrins are the active ingredients in pyrethrum.

Permethrin

  • A synthetic insecticide that’s used as an insect repellent and to treat lice and scabies
  • Used on clothing, tents, and mosquito nets
  • Applied topically to pets to treat fleas
  • Also used in agriculture

Pyrethrin

  • The active ingredients in pyrethrum, which is a natural insecticide
  • Used in household insecticides and products to control insects on pets and livestock
  • Used to control mosquitoes, fleas, flies, moths, ants, and other pests
  • Break down quickly in the environment, especially when exposed to sunlight

Pyrethrum

  • A natural insecticide that comes from the dried flowers of the chrysanthemum plant
  • The total extract from the flowers, including the active ingredients called pyrethrins

Good looking out for the gromies Sir @PogueMahone :+1: :peace_symbol:

And that’s why I say that the correct terminology is important! :v:

technically both are correct. Pyrethrum is the flower from which pyrethrin is extracted.

I am beginning to enter the rabbit hole, LOL

I just did a google search to find information about the actual plant. I was astounded with misinformation available!! I finally found credible information re: growing the plant commercially

Pyrethrum

Any confusion that 99.9% of the general population may have is entirely understandable!

Agreed! One capitol letter is the only difference in helping your uncle Jack off his horse and helping your uncle jack off his horse. Punctuality indeed El Kapitan! Lol
