Right now my tent is near the double doors
And the back of the garage is where I dry
The top that says Box 2 is the drying area
1 and 6 are in the tent
All in a 2 car garage ,
Actually don’t heat the garage per say ,
I have this heater outside the tent that’s also connected by WiFi to the hydrometer in the tent
It’s set to aromatic all go on and off according to a target temperature I set
Have you been successful at cooling with a similar method?

Could also do the basement but I would be limited to a six ft tent. It would be possible to run everything but the light and small fans outside the tent.
This house is 130 years old so I wouldn’t expect there to be any issue with fresh air getting in there. If I need I can exhaust out the window etc etc.
I already have a big dehumidifier to help with that part. My main concern is mold or mildew. But I guess I can intake through a hepa filter if need be.

lol this is the magic question ,
I’m going to try this season .but I think it can be done as there is hvac running across the top center of the garage
I know it can be done I just want to do it right as to not create an air suffrage situation in any of the rooms
I’m thinking also there is no thermostat in the garage so I would have to probably come up with something cause my wife would keep the ac on 68 of she has her way

I usually take the grow op outdoors and then begin doing indoor stuff as the season outdoors winds down
I find much less worry of contamination with pests when the tent starts back up as they have all mostly gone dormant someplace ,I also have the outdoor grow to reverse a plant for some pollen and seeds ,but can pollinate the indoor tent too ,but control it so I still get fire nuggets too
Honestly the purposely seeded buds have been just as fire as the unseeded buds .
So the space thing is why I would wonder about …
I’m not really restricted by space and I’m not sure how much room there is where you are talking about like outside the tent …
I’ve never done a closet grow but I guess if you can find a way to control the environment in the tent ,from outside it ,like a lung room situation may be easier and more forgiving ?

I do know with duct work the more bends you add and configure puts more work on your HVAC

The drying area is if I just turn 180 and about 10-13 feet away I took an old garment box converted to a diy weed dryer and opened it up and hung it so light in the morning can’t hit it
Even kept the pc fan going
I’ve got a Govee humidifier going and this fan on very low keeping the air moving and I have an auto still drying I chopped 8 days ago so I’m happy
I imagine every single space is unique and it can take some time and experimenting but any spot can be dialed in

If you have hvac you might be able to put in an adjustable vent. My old house had one in the basement. Could allow just enough heat/cool to go where you want it. Just a thought. I will most likely not have a temp issue if I go in the basement; so I might measure again and see if I can find 72 inch height somewhere.
