New Grower Questions

If I were to start and end a grow in a unfinished basement setting with the correct climate control, tents wouldn’t be necessary correct?

I would say that is correct. There are many here that have actual grow rooms without utilizing tents. :v:

You can but may be hard to control all of the environmental factors needed to stay in nominal range. A tent is okay; a simple box made from styrofoam can help maintain your conditions better as well and it’s pretty cheap.

I agree. You would have to figure out how to overcome the light leaks during flower and how to vent such a large area. The smell of growing cannabis might become overwhelming.

Thank you and is there other material that I could utilize around it or would styrofoam be the best bet?

I’m sure there’s all kinds of ways to build a box if that’s your preference. You could build a plywood box and line it with Panda film or paint white. The Styrofoam is almost structural and with a little support from furring strips you can build a nice grow space. This is what I did here: built a 4 X 6 box with swing doors: it was outstanding.

There’s kind of a view.

You said you had the correct climate control then you’ll have a huge space and only lights to limit you is how i see it. No windows or anything to cause light leaks and your golden. Sky’s the limit, put up some walls make a flower room. Boom your a pot farmer

I know its exciting but I’m also scared I’m in a little over my hear
