Grow journal----Blue Dream auto & Big Bud auto. Round two

Thanks for the tag @Not2SureYet Fox tailing isn’t fun to trim, I had a few of those. I’m with you on the trichome color. I’m not picky and as long as she bulked up, I don’t care how much amber she has. I prefer little to none, however circumstances happen where they start to finish fast, and you get a lot of amber.

@rumpelstiltskin it sounds like she still has flower bulk up phase, if you’re still seeing clear. You have a ways to go yet. The colors will start to come out possibly just about the all of the clear trichomes turn cloudy. The color of leaves can also be a phenotype, and your leaves may never turn. The most color I got were nitrogen deficiency, that’s what you’re looking for in a plant at the last phases of life. It’s just using all of its remaining nutrients from within itself to produce everything she has.

I was fortunate my self. I had just met@Myfriendis410 and was able to have him look at mine, and let me know where I was. I still had a little more to go. Even though I didn’t have the amber showing. I cut at 14 weeks. A lot of my lower buds still had some clear in them on the Blue Dream. I used those buds for butter. I need to try smoking some to see if it feels any different to me than the top buds. altho I wanted a lot of amber on the BB. it just didn’t seem like it wanted to give them up  Sooner or later I will get a plant to show me some lol

Well my friends. One more plant down. The BB is now in jars. We only have the AK left for this grow. It will be done some time shortly  The BB came as a surprise. I was hoping to do a little better the BD #2. I came out almost the same as with both of the BD. 243.3g in the jars  Thank you again for all of your support. It has helped me a lot over all the bumps I came across. I will get the tent cleaned up tonight, and then move the Magnum in there tomorrow.
Thank you again

Been trying to get him to change that name since last grow. Kept the same name in the lab. It’s a farce. He’s SURE!

Great harvest. Just an FYI those screw on mason jar lids are not airtight and not the best for curing. If U have no other jars put some Saran Wrap over the top then screw them on. U need airtight for the best cure.

If u go to get new jars look for the ones with rubber discs around the lid.

I have noticed this with the Ball jars too. They are designed to seal against a pressure differential which is not gonna happen storing MJ.

9 oz from an auto; that’s stellar performance, dude!

Thanks @anon95385719 , I have ordered 3 dozen of the jars so far. This little bit of info will add to the excitement of the grow lol That is since I have to open each jar every day for a while. I will be adding some saran wrap when I burp them today. Thanks for the heads up. I thought because they have the seal under the lid I would be good. see, I learned some thing more today
Thanks @Myfriendis410, these autos have been pretty good to me. My next focus will be to get tighter buds. They seem to loosen up some when they are drying. I know better lights are the true answer. How ever. I am hoping I can get these lights figured out to work with for a little bit. I think with the light schedule I will use with the caramel. I should be able to do a little better there.
I was going to change my name on the other side. Then thought no one would know who I was. lol
I am looking forward to doing the photo plant.

Change it to “@PrettySureNow!” haha! You can’t change your name on the public forum FYI but can here.

When you get around to building a fixture; remember I have a bunch of that aluminum I used for my strip builds. You are welcome to some.

Thanks and I was thinking the same for the forum sides. I am looking at my blue question mark that tells me I am on the public side.
Thanks @Myfriendis410, I may start getting a list together of what I will need to start building a few lights. Would be a great project once i have to take a break from growing. :grinning:
