What am I looking at here? New leaves or is she starting to show gender?

Just new leaves, sorry, no sex yet.
Ok. I’m at the 3 week mark and was curious if I had an auto flower strain going here.
I agree with @raustin

Recent transplant. Flushed last night to try and lower ph ( currently at 6.3) only using 1/4 strength nutes
Lower leaves are showing purplish. Phosphorus deficiency? PH? Over watered?
I’m under the impression that you can’t over water coco, but I only know soil. Your pH is still on the high side, so I would recommend dropping your water in to 5.3 and see if that will move your water out to the 5.8 you are targeting.
Of the two that you tagged here, I would defer to her, but that is my advice about your pH.
When they’re small you CAN over water in coco. That mixture of perlite will raise the PH and reduce water retention even further. Your PH is fine; just keep doing what you’re doing.
The plants are hungry!! Time to give them some juice.
Ok . I will start feeding full strength . From my internet search twisted leaves and purplish leaves could be phosphorus deficiency which should be solved by giving full dose nutes and I noticed she’s getting a little light green too.
Will the perlite continue to keep the ph elevated or does it wear off at some point ?
She’s a hungry plant. Start feeding nutes at full strength. Coco has no nutes in it, so more nutes have to go in.
I don’t know but assume it will remain high. Nothing to worry about.
If your water is under 250 ppm you should be using cal mag too.
I’m using distilled. Doesn’t the ph perfect coco grow make up for any cal mag issues?
Stem seems funky. I’m using the AN ph perfect for coco. Your not suppose to need calmag I believe it alters whatever auto corrects the ph. Idk. Going to keep feeding her full strength. Not sure, but seems to have greened up a little more after a full strength feeding. One large leaf tip is turned a bit down not sure if natural or related to this
That looks like mold, maybe some kind of slime mold. Did you try to clean it off?
No I didn’t touch it but I’ll go look again
Best I can describe it , is rigid like a shell. Looks kinda like when hulk rips out of his shirt lol if that makes sense
Oh, ok, then that’s nothing. It looked slimy in the other pic. It’s just growing out of its shell so to speak. Just like the hulk! ![]()
Lol I have had purplish issues since the beginning it seems. Looks like the stalk is growing out of it
She’s looking good.
Fingers crossed ![]()
