I don’t know if the second photoperiod is going to make it.
(Top picture) I’m not sure the root didn’t get dislodged and has maybe dried out. Looking kind of shaky. It’s barely above ground and looking dry until I misted it a bit just now.
They’re resilient plants, it might pull thru. You’ll know in a day or two.
Sucks when that happens. I had 2 yellow sprouts out of 6 last germ I did. Once they ate the nutes in their cotyledons, they withered and died…no chlorophyll to produce energy. Shame really, have the room in the tent for them, the other 4 all stayed small (Bruce Banner autos from 2022 outside run, selfies). Another 5 weeks for the other 4 tho!
Nope, just defective from birth, like a missing chromosome or something. Just not viable. I dropped 3 beans in water with drop or 2 of h2o2, all cracked with tap root out in a couple of days. Transplanted into medium, but when they sprouted, 1 was yellow. Got bored a couple days later and dropped 3 more, and 1 of those was yellow too. But hey, they were free seeds, and have 12 left so not complaining!
I’ve had weird results on the CBD Kush seeds I’ve planted in 2 previous grows Fingers crossed this time the are normal but like you said, could just he the genetics
I think the second photoperiod seed is going to make it and be viable afterall.
I think it just had a severe case of helmet head.
I sprayed it down again, waited an hour then CAREFULLY pried and pulled the seed casing and film off it and it now looks like the catyldons can now open freely.
those ladies of yours sure are moving along now. very nice indeed
im waiting on the first set of leafs on one i just started, so im not too far behind.
