I’m growing 2 reg seeds that I wanted to sex before I transplanted them.
Ide transplant now and let them grow into those pots. Burry the stems.
Is it true? Not true I think but I’m not using it @MattyBear is and I belive tribus says you can use them both at the same time.
Sexing will take time, and happen after you turn the lights to 12/22,this is why I run a DNA test kit.
I guess my question was if I should keep it in the cup until I can sex it, or go ahead and move it to the autopots and watch. Thanks!
Pot up for sure. It’s going to take you a 4-6 weeks to be Able to sext (from seed)
I finally assembled my 260s. I have some questions.
What is this black and grey wire for? Can I just cut the exposed wire or use electrical or duct tape on the tip?
The knob just dangling makes me nervous. How can I secure this?
What is This driver? I’ve never heard it mentioned on the forum.
I’m about to build up the UV bar. Can I just hang it between the two 260s?
Thanks! Hopefully these buds will be in the autopot tent by tonight.
Not needed for running the light. You can wrap with some electrical tape and call it a day.
Invertronics is good, considered better than meanwell in most cases.
That would be most ideal. I would just make it work the best you can.
I have mine mounted in a project box that sits on top of the frame for my light. You don’t really have a frame, so not really an option in current configuration. The side of your heatsinks should have some 4 or 5mm holes punched into it. Will this reach any of them? You could then just wrap in some flex loom and secure to one of them holes with a cable tie.
Thank you!
Very frustrating hour trying to put this together. Shout out to my husband person taking the reigns. I still have to add another valve at the other end of the line for easy line bleeding. Also, assuming I need just one layer of goofballs I ran out and had to order more. Somehow also lost a lid to one of the pot reservoirs.
Now to figure out height for the 25gal reservoir and making the nute mix in 5 gal batches.
I’m going to be using half re-used Coco and half new. Currently soaking in a tub of Jack’s, Cal mag, Sensizyme, recharge, and Lumina.
(Week 3 from sprout): Plants are still hanging hard in the other tent for now but the roots are growing FAST.
Hung both 260s and the UV light but thenlights are pressed up against the carbon filter so I’ll have to flip their direction.
Almost there @Nicky @Hellraiser @Pinboy @Aussie_autos @dbrn32 @Not2SureYet @emgoldslo !
Looking good @yourviolentpast !!!
Your going to love the autopots
Oh yeah, those girls are ready to jumo into some autopots!
Sorry to hear about your troubles, but sounds like you have some good help.
A tip I read here somewhere is to put the pot socks on before you fill the pots up otherwise it can be a pain in the a$$ to get them on
Came across that tip last night and already forgot. Thanks for the reminder!
I put mine on after they were filled. I agree. I no longer use them though. It seems to be an un needed part. For the golf balls. I am just trying them in my grow. But having removed a 5 week old plant. I am going to only use a single layer of the balls. I have them about an inch from the top of the air domes. And see that is a long way for the roots to have to grow down to get to the food. Meaning longer for them to pick up.
For the missing lid. I would just grab an old lid of some thing like a tun of butter and cut one out to sit on top.
In the future. These will make things a lot easier for you for removing a tray when the plant is done.
These are for the 1/4" lines here.

I have them set up for quick disconnects on all my stuff…
Any recommendations for a reservoir water heater? My very cold and concrete basement has the water temp in the 60s and I don’t want to shock them. Already running a space heater.
Lookin great in there!
I’m not sure what the minimum reservoir temps are but I’ve read where people have used submersible fish tank heaters. The only problem with those is that you can’t let the water level get low enough that they arnt always submerged
I bought this 1 for a small fish tank I have and it seems pretty decent. They have bigger ones as well
FREESEA Aquarium Heater Fish Tank Submersible Heater (50W/75W/100W) with LED Temperature Display
Thanks for the recc! I also found a few that auto-off if not fully submerged. What’s a good water temp in general?
Autopot says 64-70f is ideal
