Agreed. Oumotherfreakinstanding
Thanks man! I feel the same way, trying to go easy on them until I’m sure I can ramp things, up which I think is about now. And I’m definitely learning a ton! And that’s what this was all about. I’m gaining more and more respect for the pros around here every day, dialling in on what they like and don’t like, and taking lots of notes. Just gotta keep my fingers crossed that harvest and dry/cure go smoothly but that’s a whole other can of worms.
High times brother
I feel honoured to get a coveted “outmotherfreakingstanding” from the black sheep himself!
Thanks brother
You deserve it my friend, for sure
Appreciate it man. I’m already excited for next year when I can use all this newfound knowledge and experience! Can’t imagine how much of a difference the second grow is to the first.
But as long as there’s home grown bud I will never complain
That is a good question… definitely not something i see among nutrient lines… maybe they know something we dont! Someone broke it down like this once
N shoots
P fruits
K roots
Love it! Definitely going to remember that one.
And yeah I’m not too sure what’s happening there. Bought them from a grow shop so maybe worth a call and a couple questions for curiosities sake. It was 20 CAD for both bigger bloom bottles and 12 CAD for the smaller ones so maybe that’s saying something other than value, who knows. The guys said he’s been selling those for 20 years though so hard to argue with that.
Definitely glad I splurged and got the monster bloom now though! Buddy of mine works at weed md up here in Canada and he said that’s what they used to use so that’s a good sign.
I definitely feel obliged to trust the supplier lol but just seemed odd. Either way can’t wait for flower so I can start using them
You will learn something every grow, my friend. I’ve been growing weed since the mid 70’s. Strictly outdoors, guerilla style and just started this indoor thing last November, I had been researching it for a while. I have definitely learned how not to do it the next time, every grow and continue to do so to this day. The more you grow the more you will know, just keep an open mind because it is impossible to ever know it all. I hope that all is well with you and yours. Be safe and Stay HIGH
Alright, did some light trimming of fan leaves that were turning a bit yellow and noticed this pattern getting worse. I saw it on one leaf a few days ago, but there are more leaves now on the one LSD plant that look like this. Outdoor growers, any ideas? @Chemzdead ever seen this?
Doesn’t look like septoria from what I can see on google but I want to make sure.
I plan on doing a foliar spray with some stuff my fiancé has for her indoor plants tonight so hopefully that helps, cause I assume it’s pests. Only one plant had a happy jumping spider on it, I wish he had more friends on the other plants!
That was Gonna be the first thing I was gonna say was look for pests/critters
Definitely looks like pests. Does it wipe off? Or are the turning into holes?
Doesn’t wipe off, it’s like they’re dead spots but they’ve just stayed the same colour and more have shown up. The LSD next to it also has a few symptoms but it’s got the resident jumping spider so hopefully he’s doing his job. There are also small black dots on some leaves that will come off but sometimes take some leaf with them. Could be eggs? I also found this guy at the bottom of the plant in question -
Looks like she’s laying different eggs in the picture, but needless to say she didn’t last long. Could she be the culprit?
Going to spray tonight and keep an eye but if anyone has a definitive answer that would be wonderbar!
The eggs are the problem. She doesnt look like a veggie eater… but larvae come out VORACIOUS. Make sure u eradicate all John Connors
Yeah she looked like she was laying a sack, but the others were tiny little black dots scattered pretty sparsely across a few leaves. Not sure if they’re related. Used this on them liberally so hopefully it helps…
Guys, another nutrient question…I’m not sure if I should be feeding more often or less often. Opinions on whether this is a deficiency or burn?
I’ve been feeding same tap water as before but I bumped up the nutes the last watering because from what I could tell on the bottles the water should be fed every time but that may not be the case. Leaves curled in and some colouration. It’s also been super hot lately with no rain but I’ve been watering regularly. Last watering was no nutes and next one will be as well, maybe for another two unless I’m deficient…
Thoughts?
They are pest eggs. I need to spray them again, I’ve got little jumping things on them usually a couple at a time. Try and scrape off eggs when I see them and squish the bugs when I can grab them.
I’m feeling conflicted whether or not I have burn or a deficiency now…here’s pics from this morning. Looks like nute burn to me but I’ve never seen any of this in real life so I’m feeling at the mercy of the experts
Some of the older leaves look like the trauma from pre-transplant has finally caught up (last pics). But the newer growth also has some crispness and different colourations. For reference, I’m watering 2 gallons between all the plants every other day. I haven’t given nutes since it looked like I burned them. It’s been hot as shit here the last week and a half so they got dry pretty quick.
I’ve been meaning to update but not much has happened, until now. All the plants have flipped to flower!
Things cleared up since last time. I held off on nutes for a couple waterings and came back at a lower dose, seemed to do the trick. Gave them their first bloom nutrients this morning, waiting for week 4 to start with the monster bloom.
Now I just need to keep them dry once they start filling out. I might have to nail a tarp under the deck to make a dry area for them to sit but that won’t be too bad.
Looking forward to the next phase!
Love it brother ! Plants are looking great ! You got this , glad to see your post …High Times Griff
