75°f-lights on and 68°f lights off…
RH-V-55-65℅ and F-45℅-55℅ RH…

The canopy is pretty level, hopefully filling out in the middle before the flip,…
42 days into Veg… Going to do a 60 day veg to see if I can bring up my yield some…

This is an unknown strain…looks like Sativa to me??
Friend gave her to me cause he thought he’d killed her…
I juiced her with HerculeanHarvest and a little CalMag and she turned into a monster…
Where I live we have a few months before Daylight falls under 12 hrs…
So maybe a Fantastic Christmas…

About 1\3 gr per watt…which sucks…
I top several times in V…
In F… I just defoliate the yellowing leaves unless a large fan leaf is blocking, then I cut off just enough for better light penetration…
I do LST starting about 3rd week in V…
Any suggestions on how to get closer to 1gr per watt…

Okay, I would like to increase my yield…(along with Every grower on the planet…LOL)
I would like some critiques, suggestions, ideas, comments or whatever on how to accomplish this…
I have been using techniques in the Grow Bible such as…Fimming, Topping, LST bending and tying down branches, minimal defloilating…only if it’s yellowed, damaged or blocking signifigent light…
I still don’t seem to be able to produce more than like 2 oz per plant…
Am I limited by being a soil grow?
Is the answer to do more plants?..I don’t see how that would increase yield per plant just overall yield…
I keep my pH between 6.3 and 6.7 and my ppm varies from 200ppm in early Veg up to 1200ppm in Mid Flower…
I float seeds in 6.0/68-70f until cracked and showing tail, I then put into pint nursery cups with humidity domes…then into Veg tent turned down to 450w for a week, then turn up to 600w…I transplant into 5 gal felt pots after 14-21 days…I don’t feed any nutes for the first month…after girls are in the 5 gal about 2 weeks then I start with week 2 in the GH feed chart…
I Fim and Top only in Veg, LST and defoliation throughout entire grow…I do it very spareingly during mid to late Flower…
I put girls into 36 hrs of dark before flip to 12/12 to induce flowering…And I put them into complete dark 36-48 hrs before harvest…
I flush with GH FloraKleen a week after flip and again 2 weeks before harvest…I also only water the last 2 weeks…
My average as stated above is about 2 oz per plant which is about 1\4 gram per watt…which is Shit!!
It doesn’t seem to vary much with Strain…
WW and Big Bud did almost 3z per plant, but usually about 2z…
What am I Not doing or Not doing Correctly…??? Am I missing a step or 2 that I don’t realize??? >HELP< Please!
Questions to Ask…
- Lux…I have 20,000l at canopy level (in week 2 of Veg)…does this get divided by sq ft of room size, or is total lu…
- PPM…I run 200-250ppm well water…If I want 750ppm nutes, I would be at 500ppm if I subtracted the exsisting ppm in my well water…
- pH…I run a 3-to-1 ratio of Happy Frog to Coco…I use the Coco as a filler to keep the HF nice and fluffy…Should I have my pH closer to 6.0…I plan on going to a 50/50 ratio next year, would I need to adjust pH down at that point…
- Pot Size…I have heard a rule of thumb is1 gal for every month of growth…I do a 6-8 wk Veg using 5 gal felt pots…Would I see enough of a yield increase to go to 7 gal pots…
- Yield…I am running 2-600w HPS at 40" on center with a 300 watt Virgin LED…I cannot seem to acheive more than 1/4 to 1/3 grams per watt…I top at the 3rd or 4th node several times in Veg, I also do LST by tying down branches to open up the middle to light…I use FloraNova D-T-W and never go over 900ppm in Veg and I’ll go to 1100-1200 in Mid Flower…
- PhotoPeriod…V-16 on 8 off…F-12\12
- Temps…V-77-79f On 68-72f Off…
F-75-77f On 68-72f Off…

Yes i was courious as well. It looks rather large for only 2 600MH, or HPS. How long do you veg? Guess really asking is how big do you let them get before flip? Im trying promix this grow instead of soil as i wanted a bigger yield. I have been getting between 3/4 lbs to 1 1/2 lbs with soil. Going for 2 1/2.

Yup. Space looks pretty spread out. And that 300w probably is no more then 100 at the wall.
Also i think the other day i saw a HPS lighting convo that went along the lines of… MH is more blue so even at 250w could be of better use for vegging under, and HPS at 600 was solid for flowering.
But… back to the spacing thing again before all that even matters. How big is the room.

Ok so that was a lot to read. Hope I digested it right. In general, an indoor soil grower has to balance yield per plant with yield per square inch/centimeter. And yield over time. If I do a sea of green, I use maybe 24 one gallon plants and force flower when the all touch at three months old. I only get maybe a half oz per plant but that’s 12 oz per space in 90 to 120 days.
If I do a Scrog, I fill the same space in about the same time with only 6 plants in 5 gal pots. I get the same 12 oz per space but four times as much yield per plant. You see how that works. Increase the pot size and vegging time to get more yield. There is only so much food and steroids can help and yer already doing that. Given set square footage, up is the only way to get more yield. Let them veg longer and stake them.
You can up that same space per yield fro 12 oz to 16 by going hydro. That’s not my area tho.
I see from the pics that you are using about 48" by 60" (studs being 16" apart usually). Looks like plenty of light for that. Happy frog is light on nutes because it’s more for seedlings so adjust there as needed. More coco means less calcium and magnesium so watch that too.

room is 6x8’ total, I only use 20 sq ft…
The LED is a 600w equivalent (draws 297 true watts with kill meter)
So I have the following wattage lights…
600w DE (702w) 600w HPS (652-I assume ballast is 52w)
2-600w equivalent LEDs ( 297w and 301w true draw)…
I’ve been giving them 1ml CaliMagic with each feed…
Would I benefit from lowering my pH closer to 6.0 since I use a 3 to 1 blend of HF to COCO…?
