I’ve decided to get a small green house and do a few of my plants in that this grow. Right now I have most of my plants in a small greenhouse to start, they’re inside with artificial light. 18/6 light schedule, it’s a 1500 watt light, I’m getting around 300 watts out of it though. I’m working with blue dream, gorilla glue, girlscout cookies, mk ultra, and gold leaf. Some of the plants will just be in the ground but the best of them will be put in the greenhouses. I was thinking to put my healthiest plant in the small greenhouse and use both natural and artificial lighting on that one. Im rather new to artificial lighting so I’m curious if there would be any benefit to placing my lights in the larger greenhouse or if I should just go with natural light. Also if anyone’s got any pointers I’d love to hear it.
I also got a greenhouse from Amazon. Mine is 7’ x15’. I’m thinking since it is a green plastic I will need to add lights. I have a small clear plastic greenhouse that I’m keeping inside until the weather warms up. My plants are just seedlings now. It has 3 shelves 2’ across. Didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a grow tent and lights since they will be going outside. I just have a grow light bulb and keep it by my sliding doors where the sun shines through.
Nice, I’d like to do a larger greenhouse, but I’ll be moving soon. So maybe next grow. do you think the green plastic has an effect on light intake?
The green material has optimum UV levels to pass through to your plants
