Grand Rising Grromie’s how much of myth is it to leave ac inline fan on as long as lights on?

Never heard of such a thing. Sounds like bro science. Fans should remain on 24/7.

So I can’t just use the oscillation fans I have like 3 of them and put on exhaustion fan like every hour for 20 minutes ?

Your fans are fine. Use them 24/7 to keep airflow up. Same for the exhaust fan - run it 24/7. It’s important for heat removal and CO2 replenishment.

Hi Ganja I use two intakes according to season, so half the year my intake is ducted to attic window… Outside air into tent then inline exhaust back outside. Never mixes with home. Or I can duct it in from another room. Cheap dryer duct. You might try that. Or juggling around difgerent intake and vent locations… Even with a tent there is an easier and a harder season indoors.

Not a myth. The exhaust fans purpose is to expell air that co² has been depleted from and help draw in air that is containing co² that your plants will need. As such, long as your lights are on you should be making a full air exchange at least every 2 minutes. Most of us run closer to 1 minute for full air exchange.

From there you will also notice that several of us continue to run exhaust through lights out period as well. The plants don’t necessarily need this, but as lights are out the temperature in tent will cool and could cause condensation within your grow space. Leaving your exhaust on will help equalize temp and rh in your space to that of your lung room and should remain free of much or any condensation.
