If there was a way to get each other info. I like to wager a O of my finest grown to your finest.
that would be grand!! lol
ohh well bragging rights is ok with me for the moment!! lol
Anybody have or use these lights? Would you recommend these to add more red light spectrum to my tent
come on CT,you can do it!!
Look at that girl… GO BD… GOOO!
Looks very expensive for only an extra 90 advertised watts.
Have you ever heard of this light group
I’m really surprised that they didn’t add some far reds to that light. Something like that would help your lights with the weaker red intensity. But I would also have a hard time spending that kind of cash for what it is.
I was just wondering would it be worth it. My lights to me have enough red and have rewarded me with pretty good yields.
Miezhi are pretty good. There are better, but there are also much much worse. It’s just that other light seem to offer much for the price. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of lights in that market. You would probably be limited to a diy project to get what you want at a good price. But what you could build for that would be a lot better, or you could build equivalent for less.
@dbrn32
I would be open to diy wit more red if I could get help finding the parts.
Also the guy at LED grow lights offered 10 percent off of the price of 159 on their site. Which makes them 145 do you think it would be worth it then at $2 a watt give or take as the light draws 72-75 from wall
@Onlythebest79 check out dr evils hidden lab,i’m building side/additional lighting for less than that…
bridgelux top of the line stuff you can get it in 3500k
Ya that’s a little better. I see two issues with that light regardless of price. The first, is there’s no far red. The second, is that it’s a lot of red condensed into a small area. And it would be tough to make good use of that evenly throughout your grow, or without being blocked by or blocking your other light.
There’s some stuff out there that’s pretty easy to work with. Give me some time as I have some places to go, but I’ll post a couple of options for diy job later.
Ok @BIGE I will and have been reading that one post but I’m still lost.
@dbrn32
I sure appreciate that and I’ll be anxiously waiting
I’m driving home from work once I get there let me sit down and write up something to respond to you shortly
No problem. I’m kind of in the same boat for a little while. So if I disappear for a bit don’t be alarmed.
But, the rapid kit is kind of pricey for what it is. The cobkits strips out of stock, and the cutter strips would have to be shipped from Australia. May have to see how that plays out with shipping and when cobkits is planning on having in stock. Those strips are super easy on a diy level though, and drivers for them relatively cheap.
I’m pretty handy at building and putting together so that stand point is pretty easy. It’s just getting all the required part to make run safely and not cause fires.
Back to the point at hand I have one tent 4x2x6 with 2 600w meizhi and 1 300w meizhi with 6” cfm exhaust 4” intake and here’s a pic this my photo tent and 2 plants maybe 3 max but for sure 2
Other tent is 4x2x5 with 2 meizhi 600w and 1 300w meizhi 4” cfm exhaust and 4” intake here’s pic of tent for autos 3 plants maybe 4 but for sure 3
If I could I would like to build a frame to set all my lights in hang and if I could build make that frame to hold and incorporate the extra red lights between the meizhi lights and the edges. Hopefully this drawing helps the scribble lines are where I would like to add the extra light if possible.
