this ilgm mauieW is a self topper incase anyone hasnt seen them before… nothing to fear with these as i just LST them over and let the bottom nodes compete to be the top… have seen some really cool plants come out of these before…

I had an Ilgm gold leaf do that. It ended up as a really sturdy 7’ plant with 2 main stalks.

i wonder if cloning a self topper would produce additional self toppers… may experiment with a few…
I took a clone off of my mystery girl and it was 2 stalks fused together and it produced 4 leaves per node, now it has split off at the top and is growing 3 leaves per node,(I’m told she is a polyploid), she has roots, but is not looking good, I hope it makes it as I will use it to take more clones from when I gets bigger. So far it’s the only branch on the plant like it.
interesting stuff… i would kinda expect there to be possibility of some freaky growth nodes here and there…
