Good cheap lights

Oh I know I’ll be making more mistakes but I don’t have to worry about buying any more ph up or down I have a quart of each

That light is more than enough for a 3x3. I see the one you posted in sold out. QB lights are flying off the shelves right now.

@WickedAle, @perry2,
that light is plenty for a 3x3 in flower.!!

i m a big fan of the QB kits, great light and easy to assemble, but…
the QB 120 and 132 boards r a bit cheaper to purchase and run,
set up in a 3x3 on a 30" frame, boards in outside corners, run at 60-70w each (240-280w) they will provide awesome coverage.!

135w QB kits, $190 each, 1x for veg, 2x for bloom…

Other than saving $50, not much. Last i looked hlg hadn’t posted flux data on new 324. But thumb eyeball should land two of them around similar par levels of 4 of the 120 or 132 boards. Should also be noted that $79 for 324 board is sale price right? Normally that would be $75 board and $25 heatsink. Hard to keep up with sale prices and how they may shift umol per dollar on any particular build.

will these be good to carry these plants thru to flower I have never seen or used them just read about them here

Ok dbrn32 I need help I can build my lights and if you could help with finding what that would be great. I’ll be using a 3x3x72” grow tent and would like to just have one light that will do it all.

Your in great hands with dbrn32 on your lighting planning team. Cant go wrong with either diy or qb imo.

As for soil dont try to buy prefertilized for the whole grow it will be way too much for seedlings and will either kill them or retard your growth hurting your harvest either in weight with autos or in time by making your photos veg much longer to achieve your targeted flip size

To late in using this

Interesting product based on a quick scan of their website ill definitely be watching your grow to see how this one does. It should be alright looks similar to some of the mixes mentioned by others who manually mix their own

Using 4 pack of something like the 120 boards like @SlowOldGuy is pretty inexpensive and easy way to do it. But there’s a ton of components you could use. Look around the site or even the web at different builds for your size space. See what you think is best for you. Whatever you decide i can help you with.

I was looking at that when I bought it I have been thinking my grow is going really slow but I’m 10 days since the showed them selfs and I just transplanted them this morning

what do ya think this is my first grow and I’m nervous

They look great for 10 days
The bluples dont make it easy to see any isues
The only real question id have is how high is the light from top of plants?

About 20” I did have them at 2’

Leave it there for a few days if your growth doesnt pick up lower light 6 inches and wait a few days to see what happens it will take a bit to get them dialed in to where you get the best results

Ok 120 is that watt, leds, or something else I’m just getting over whelmed. With the leds, hps, hm, t5, and bluples then there’s the different watts for each of them. I rode the short bus you see

Qb 120 means there’s 120 leds on the board. Don’t get consumed by how many watts something consumes. It’s not as important when you have a really efficient platform.
