Golgi apparatus

Sweet, should always have neem oil on hand and spinosad for use in flowering if needed.

Im sure ill need it all. There are gnats everywhere here. theres dozens on my yellow stickies. However there are none on my stickes in the tent. I inspect the soil with my loop at least twice a day.

Gave water today. about 4 ozs. depending on seedling size of ph 6.5. it’s been five days since last watering. The soil looked dry, felt dry, and weighed dry compared to a cup full fresh out the bag. Also registered dry on the meter.
There was just a tiny bit of runoff from most of the cups.
Hope they dont die.

thank you.

Well It’s been about 12 days now since the ladies broke ground. They have gone from This

To This

!

Im seeing some yellow there in the top set of leaves. They did get a watering yesterday but the soil was very dry and I didnt over water.
Raised the lights another 1.5 inches to accommodate new growth.
Inspected all plant leaves and soil with jewelers loupe.

photo makes them look a lot more yellow than they actually are. @Hellraiser any thoughts?

I think that what you are seeing is the light green of new growth. Plants do look a little wet from the pictures I am seeing

compared to yesterday morning there is a good amount of new growth and a lot of new root growth. Soil is moist after yesterdays watering. It was pretty dry. I thought I was watering sparingly. meter now reads moist and it feels moist. Cup weight seems about where it should be. Soil still seems light and airy when i dig some out.

Everything is looking good to my inexperienced eye  . No bugs, mold or mildew and new growth. The lights making them look lighter color than they are.

The tiny one I call Little Half Squat there was the last to sprout. I had actually counted that one out due to not germinating. It got stuck under some timber and had a helmet stuck on pretty good. Also had a thin membrane stuck on it preventing the cotyledons from opening up. I eventually used a fine tipped forcep to remove it.
I am actually surprised any of them made it this far.

Some of them were spilled on the floor. Stepped on. Sucked up in a shop vac. The old dried out paper towel trick. Then there were those damn rooter pods that just complicated things for me. There was a malfunctioning heat mat that was just going full tilt cooking them on day. Not giving enough light, to much light and a re-pot a few days after sprout I would say I pretty much did everything i could to kill them aside from drowning them.
I testament to the resilience of this plant, strain and quality of the ILGM seeds.

I need to figure out what I am going to do about the light leaks in this tent. I have patched a few of them but it’s not great. Opulent Systems told me they would send a whole new tent when they are back in stock. But am I really going to set up two 4’x8’ tents and a 4’x4’ in 30’x12’ garage…Anyway I suppose I could tarp it if things get that far along or hang a tarp like a curtain around it. Not getting much light in the area the tent is in aside from work lights and monitor glare.

No idea why these things are not made with two layers of material to block leaks from stitching and flaps that cover zippers. Cost most likely. Maybe I am being anal about it. Not sure whats the norm in the grow tent industry or the standard of acceptable leaks are.

I am looking at getting another 4x4 tent so I cant get the ball rolling on the next rotation soon. Were Licensed for (12) flowering plants, (12) non-flowering over 14" tall and (12) clones under 14" tall at any given time. That seems like a lot of cannabis to me and a lot for a novice to handle.

Anywho, I am Undecided on tent brand. I certainly don’t want to deal with customer service for a leaky tent again though. I’ve read a lot about gorilla tents but are they really the end-all when it comes to grow tents? They have a light line I see as well. Are they high quality? I don’t know.
Any input is appreciated

So the top soils looking pretty dry and im seeing white on some of the wood chunks. Nothing on the plants. Is this perlite dust perhaps or am I looking at a bigger problem? theres also lots of little shiny bits in there but the camera isn’t picking it up. @Hellraiser @repins12 @Drinkslinger @Arrow
