So this is info i should have given .
But the hole is where i removed a large fan leaf and that spot does look kinda like the crack, like it didn’t heal properly or something… .
But taking a look close up may give us a better idea, will do this when i get home.
No training other then tuck and plucking leafs, and removeing nods (mild lollipop).
But nothing tied down or bent anywhere.
I dont believe its “mechanical” damage.
Absolutely possible that this lead to an infection.
I actually had a old stalk holding a limb to the side in the beginning.
And it molded at the base, i removed it and the surrounding coco just trying to get it all.
It wasn’t much but it was clearly present.
If it traveled through the plant then I believe it will have to go and my pot sanitized
For now I’d spray the L out of her with like 3 tsp of peroxide in a quart sprayer you can spray the whole plant even the whole tent with it and if it’s just a bruise you haven’t hurt anything and if it’s a fungus it could/should stop it. Then if it gets worse I would take a more aggressive approach like cutting on it
First thought.
This was what I lean towards after seeing before after.
Regardless @MeEasy hit it on the head. Disinfect, then dress it with honey/aloe/plant vitamins and wrap it in plant gauze.
All these folks here, and then some are amazing. Thanks for the help!!
So its definitely swelling more.
I took some pictures with microscope but idk what im looking at really .
Appears to go all the way into the center and looks hollow.
One picture may be a bug in it cant make it out and it never moved, never saw any movement.
Spot at node where fan was removed. No damage above this node "on the out side at least ".
The crack, potential bug looking spot in fist crack picture, kinda grayish spot

Picked these up omw home, which one should i try first. I do have h2o2 as well.
I wish I would bookmark things I find. Somewhere I read about direct injection of something into the stem while surfing the google. Sorry I can’t provide any details!
If i spray it on the ctack it will go directly into the core i believe. Pretty sure i can see into the center.
Only thing i can think of is fungus or mold
Think I’ll spray the copper on it and just see what happens.
I changed the reservoir yesterday and upped the ppm getting ready to transition to flower and they all exploded in growth since yesterday, so whatever it is, it hasn’t slowed it down any. yet…
Are those little round things that look like trichomes eggs? I’m not sure what I’m seeing so I’m afraid to suggest which one to use for it. @CoyoteCody is good with fungus type stuff maybe he’ll have a better idea of what this is
You talking about in the center of the crack? @MeEasy
I think that is the white fleshy stuff whatever its called in the very center of the stalk but if its eggs its a lot of eggs so i hope not .
So i sprayed the crap out of the effected area with the copper spray, i filled the crack full so maybe something will happen .
Yeah sorry my eyes aren’t real good, but yes the ones in the crack there is a ton of them in there so I hope they aren’t eggs I’ve never looked inside a stem with a microscope. I think I would have tried the copper first too it’s looking more like bud/stem rot now with the micro pictures. I believe you are on the right track
I finally got tired of my eyes I called for an appointment the other day and the lady said I hadn’t been in there for over 5 years
Not sure what it is, but i also have not looked at the inside of a stem with my microscope, ill have to see what that looks like for sure!
If you scroll up a little bit and there’s some good regular magnification pictures of it, I’m pretty sure it’s rot that got on a wound from removing a leaf
This was my thoughts from the start of it
Should be able to get rid of it. Peroxide is what I washed some buds that were on a plant with some bud rot and nothing grew after it was dried and jarred. Of course I destroyed the buds infected with the rot
Edit = not straight peroxide you have to dilute it… up to 4 tsp per quart to spray the plants and 1 cup in a 5 gallon bucket w about 4 gallons of water to wash at harvest. I don’t know if this is the exact mixes used by everyone it’s just how I was taught
Looks like normal scar damage I wouldn’t worry too much
@Bluntsmoke, so heres a tag, i thought i “quoted” you but i guess i didn’t
I wouldn’t worry if there was a reason for the scaring.
Wasn’t damaged in anyway other then removing a fan leaf and then the nasty looking crack begain under the fan leaf spot, and has continued to grow as well as the stem swelling.
I’m use to mechanical damage from super cropping or limbs splitting from weight, that kinda thing.
This just seems to have appeared without mechanical assistance the best i can tell
Oh wow, I’ve always used the 3% h2o2 (brown bottle) at 1 part h2o2 and 2 parts h2o. That 1 cup proxide to 2 cups water. When useing as a soil drench for root rot. I’ve never actually had to deal with any fungus or rot outside of the soil so admittedly ive never sprayed the plant with this mixture.
My thought was if the copper had no effect i would hit the effected area with the 1 to 2 mixture
I do believe it looks slightly better today.
To early to get excited but it did now grow last night after the copper spray.
It even kinda looks “cleaner”.
I’ll pull it out to get the scope to it after i get these new tent setup.
Picked up a brand new vivosun 30"x20"x63" for just $45 off of FBMP .
I’m super stoked, this odd size is perfect for my sf2000 light.
