I use a 6/2 schedule in Veg to break up the growth periods but still receive a full daily dose of light.

Correct it’s just an energy saver, not a yield increaser
The trick is to add light time in the middle if the dark period
Regular veg schedule
6am-12am lights on
12am- 6am lights off
My flowering schedule is
6am-6pm lights on
6pm-6am lights off
Gas lantern veg schedule
6am-6pm lights on
6pm-12am lights off
12am-1230am lights on 《------ 30min of light added during dark time
1230am-6am lights off

Yes I run a gas lantern schedule but I add 2 hours of light in the middle of my dark period…
Plants grow like weeds and are extremely healthy…

Lights on at night and off during the day 12/12: Powers cheaper and tent will better temperature regulate. I bump my timers a lot and screw them up even on 1/2 on 1/2 off.
And cartridge oil will probably need to be decarbed before you can use it for an edible. The pen heats the oil so a cart wont normally be decarbed.

Yeah, what I was thinking. Just like using resin or wax right? I get four one gram carts a month for free and I can’t stand vaping. Screws up my lungs. Figure I will just make edibles for the wifey and her friends out of them. LOL

@TokerGuy I wouldn’t turn them to edibles. They put something in there that makes it smokable
Well that worries me a bit if It’s made to inhale but can’t be ingested orally. These are CO2 extracts instead of bho and they claim only flavor terpenes are added. Guess I will need to research heavily before doing it…

They don’t tell you it may be extracted with C02 they still winterize it with an ethanol wash. doesn’t matter, it’s just them being dishonest with word trickery.

Do you know if the Ethanol is denatured or do they at least use the pure edible version? We can buy edible ethanol so I’m hoping that is the choice of winterizing vs. denatured alcohol. The impurities in denatured alcohol make it poisonous to consume, so I would assume poisonous to smoke as well. BTW, these are legitimate tested Nevada dispensary carts, not street made. Maybe this makes a difference?
They don’t need to put anything in the carts to make them smokable; cannabis oil is smokable, as is.
If you’re buying reputable carts, there should only be cannabis oil (cannabinoids, terps, and flavanoids) in them, nothing else. If you’re buying carts made with a thinning agent, stop.
If you want to turn a cart into an edible, check the test results first. If it’s mostly THC, no need to decarb, but if it’s mostly THCA, you’ll need to decarb
