Giving cloning a shot

Someone here suggested regarding my Zambian that the best thing I can do to figure out if it is a male is cut a clone and once its rooted put it in flower.

I need to get experience in cloning so im giving it a shot. Its been a little over 24 hours and they seem like they are doing ok. I just used clonex gel and straight into soil (happy frog)

I took clippings of the Zambian and the African Black I had although they were not as clean cut wise. That plant got very bushy. This is more of a test to see if I cant get them to root.

I would recommend picking up a cloning unit. Works wonders. Fast, reliable & they come in different sizes.
My particular one will do 80 clones. (160 if I double them up. 12-14 days from clipping, I’ve got plants, not tiny seedings.
Not knocking the Dixie Cup technique but mass aeration w/ a sharp 60%+ angle on the end of the stem, light micro, grow & bloom.
Get your soil or baskets ready…
I’ll be keeping up w/ your progress. Best of luck to you!

If you need to talk about topping, training, triming or so forth, feel free to give me a nudge.
And in turn, if you see something that’s just too cool not to share, throw that my way too!
Best of luck to you!
