that sounds about right …no rush… I had a girl that after 10 full weeks of flower was still not showing amber and I used the hard dot tale and harvested…worked that time…

Good morning Greauxmies! Harvested one of the Blue Haze this morning. I’m going to let her sister ripen up a little more before harvesting.
Transplanted one of the Purple Kush over to the flower tent and broke her over.

Just dropped by to post a few update for the Purple Kush
I let my training get a little out of control for one. I think it turned into one of those creepy creatures from Aliens! 
My other Purple Kush isn’t as embarrassing
Got a Trainwreck that has broke ground and a Gold Leaf that I just germinated waiting in que.

Good morning @Retiredoldguy! I could be wrong in my assumption but, I’ve never seen the buds bulky this early in flower on my previous grows. Since I’ve kept all other variables unchanged, I contributed the early bulking to the increased availability of Silica in the system. It could be just coincidence also.

I see… Si stays in bud walls during bud development so stop using after buds form to improve taste is something I have followed for the last few grows based on Dr. Bruce experiments… not sure if there is any truth to it or not but I do stop using it around week 7 of flower…

Since increasing my reservoir size to 100 gallons, i dont change the water but once at beginning of flower. Just top off nutrients when the ppm level hits 800 so i stop using it in my top offs 3/4 the way through flower.
