not a happy grower, with all the rain we have had, I have not been able to tend to the plants the way I normally would, two bag seed clones that where at the back that I didn’t pay to much attention to , have turned hemmi, which in turn has turned the rest of the garden, I just ripped up 8 plants, all in head , all with bloody seed, I have two plants left out there that have just started to head, and I cant see and balls on them atm , what are the chances of them not being hemmies. @garrigan62 @latewood @Willd @Hawkeye_diesel
.a whole season wasted , I just may have to bite the bullet and grow under lights,
Damn I’m sorry to hear that colt. I’ve lost a plant 3 weeks into flowering. I know own the hurt. If I could help I would. Holler if you need anything

They were all fem seeds bar the two bag seed clone’s
@Coltfire
Barring any unforeseen stress, the two that just started making heads (kolas, buds, flowers) should be fine. Make sure wherever you put the males or hermies you pulled is downwind of your remaining ladies and covered with leaves or dirt to prevent any pollen those herms produced from spreading to your garden after they’ve been cut.
This happened to me in 2014 reducing my grow and harvest by 1/2-2/3. I think mine did it b/c of stress from continuing to supercrop after they started to flower. Yanking them was the only recourse to not lose the entire crop.
Just keep a watchful eye on the 2 remaining. Do your best not to stress them. If you’re doing any training to expose more heads to daylight do it gently and in phases.
Not the best analogy, but it’s akin to pruning apples (without any actual cutting) you only want to impact or affect a 1/4-1/3 change at a time. So if you had 6 heads you would tie down 1-2 branches one day, wait a couple of days and tie down another 1-2, then wait for that to recover and then tie down the remainder in the same manner.
This shot was in 2015 and not from that grow. But like I said I ended up with only about 1/3 of what I put in the ground in 2014.
They are all i in side drying as the change happened late so they are not full of seed. And it was almost time to pull them anyway ,but I will be very careful as not to pollinate the last two , and will be checking daily
oh that’s some consolation then. I noticed mine early on and just yanked and dragged 'em into the woods. I suspect I would have lost them all if I hadn’t. I bought a few different 5 seed mixpacks, so I have seeds to last a few seasons.
The seeds on these plants are they worth keeping, they were all feminized seeds ,bar the two bag seed clones. And some nice plants if didn’t go hemmi.
What a bugga @Coltfire
Sorry to hear that brother, that sucks…
As we say here in the mountains, it is what it is, just bite the lips and get ready for next one , hopefully a better one…
Godspeed !
Sorry Bro,
Thereis no way to give you a legitimate answer as to whether the last 2 will remain pure. All you can do is monitor them and hope they do not develop pollen sacks. We are hoping for your good luck ![]()
later, lw
Its all I can do ,but next one is not until September
That’s just a few months away, better get ready ![]()
