Fungus gnats eggs and compost tea

Use Mosquito bits for the larvae and sticky traps for the adults. Get yourself some Captain jacks dead bug as well. You can use Captain jacks as a preventive.

A 25% mix of hydrogen peroxide and water (1:3) will kill the larvae already hatched and eating your plant’s roots. I lost a whole tray of pepper starts to the bastards before I started taking them seriously.

I mix 2 tablespoons of Dawn dish soap in a 1qt spray bottle and soak the soil. Works better than neem oil.

Are you still practicing knf?

I don’t fallow it strict. However I certainly use inputs and ALOT of microbiology. I’ve read a lot of literature on it. Actually now I have some cow bones I boiled up and then soaked in organic apple cider vinegar to release the calcium and phosphorus. I make compost, Lactic Acid Bacteria. They solubilize nutrients in the soil. Phosphorus one of them. I was using Cold war organics but recently started with Gaia green. It complements my growing style better. I like putting home made inputs in. For nutrients and microbiology. Then every couple weeks I throw a spoon of that in the soil. I can ALWAYS tell about ten to 12 days later when it becomes available. I also utilize herbs in my indoor garden. Other terpenes bring out terpenes. Here’s a few pics of my current
