Looking BEAUTIFUL. Love your grow space! If you don’t call that “The Laboratory”, you should! :grinning:

Actually I call it the ‘dungeon’ lol.

Looking nice Alan. Glad to hear that you are doing well again.
The plants look fuzzy so imsure they will finish nicely.

They’re stacking pretty nice for 4 weeks. The last round did well so hoping these continue the trend.

Definitely dialed in, I seen that last haul

The Do Si Do is the clear winner with the WW and Tropicana not far behind. The Godfather OG is much smaller and behaving differently from the others: it looks like the root mass didn’t develop as well as the others.

My Do Si Dos and Tropicana Cookies won last round in my tent too. Godfather OG was the odd duck and didn’t have as nice of buds as the others. High is good and heavy on the Limonene terpines

Those are the best terpenes. Nothing has replaced the MW you grew, swear it was like smoking medicated limes. (Well, sort of… :joy:)
:fire: :sunglasses:

Those plants are thiickk Alan!

I love the lemon terpenes over all others. Hopefully get some decent aromatics from these. My two MW’s I did last round were a mix of fruit and a hint of citrus. One of them is very racy and the other more pleasant to smoke.

What surprised me was the Super Skunk: it’s WAY racy and unpleasant for the first 30 minutes or so then mellows out. My favorite right now is the NYC Diesel.

What effects do you get from the NYC Diesel? I must have let mine go too long because it just put my ass to sleep every time lol

First off: it’s not overpowering. I’m guessing around 15% THC. Two good bong rips and I’ll get an initial jolt but mellows out well and stays light (if you know what I mean). Some of these strains make my eyes blurry and others no effect, still others are too mellow. I like a good terpene profile and am always searching for that just right one. This last go-round I was pleased with the NYC Diesel (fruit and lemon) as well as the Durban Poison.

We’re doing Blue Dream now and very nice so far.

Sounds like a great review. Makes me want to grow my dad some NYC diesel.
Currently he’s deciding if he likes amnesia haze or green crack or inzane in the membrane more.

@Myfriendis410 @Covertgrower @MattyBear
may have the opportunity to get a source turboso I have some questions hopefully someone can help with.

I understand the source has a vaccume chamber but in but I have seen many people using secondary vaccume chambers with their resin along with a heat mat and a silicone mat to purge the resin of all hydrocarbons.
Is this required with the source or only with the columns, I do understand that ethanol washes are different but I’ve never personally done either from start to finish.
The goal here is to make carts with terps my girlfriend can smoke out of a 510 oil/vape cart.
Unfortunately rosin is not ideal for the carts at a home grow level.

Not required. One as source turbo is basically doing same thing as heat mat and vacuum chamber. But also because the alcohol used is typically food grade, like 190 proof everclear. So not as critical if trace amounts were to remain, but still uses same process. Just additionally recovers the alcohol so it can be used again.

I’m not sure how good end product is at making carts as I’ve never tried. But I’m sure it can be done, and this seems like most reasonable way to fill your needs.

Pretty much what @dbrn32 said. Many buy a buchner funnel and vacuum pump as well as a silicone mat and vacuum chamber but it’s not necessary. I’m not too concerned about a little ethanol in full spectrum extractions simply because I’m going to mix it in hot coconut oil to make butter. For dabs I’ll spread the extract out on a silicone mat to vent before storing/using.

I’ve never done carts but my understanding is that it does a great job.

This is a great place to get info.

@Nicky i make carts all the time using the Etoh, bigger version of the source. When making my vapes I do use a vacuum chamber after running it through the etoh and letting it sit out for a day with a fan on it. I use the vacuum chamber to ensure I get all alcohol out before partially decarbing the oil in the oven. I’m not into Bomb making .

I posted a couple of things in Calis concentrate thread with some good info for vape making

if I didn’t know any better I would think every one in here were pot heads
Those look great there. :+1: How much light are you vegging with. If I could keep mine small like that. I would love to make a table so every thing is eye level as to the floor every now and then. My JH auto is bigger than all the others this grow. It is going to do good. It looks like you are still going to pull some weight with out the 4’ plants

Best I’ve done in Colorado was a Super Skunk that came out at 10 oz. Everything else is in the 6 or so oz range.
