As said in a few other threads, my son is down in Jacksonville, in a truck eating sandwiches waiting it out, to help get power going once it moves out, they have not found a motel/hotel yet, justt chillin and resting before the 16 hr days come.

So the EM I’m making- I’ve been combining 2 day, uncovered, rice wash, with equal amounts of Keifer whey. Then adding to the 1:10 milk ratio. Measure that out and add 8% volume with PNSB. Then final collection gets brewers yeast and a tap of corn starch dissolved. Supersaturated and anaerobic fermented for 2 wks to age. Then sugar topped off. And cold storage, with burping, for mother culture.
Found spores for this and Trichoderma for you Hydro guys. Personally, I add alfalfa horse cube to 20 hr tea brews, for max Triacontanol and Trichoderma levels. Then add dregs to top dress. Still plenty of nutes not water soluble. Then I saw this
I wonder is it really worth my budgeting to try this Vs. my low cost, sustainable, solution with the additional cost of Microbe Complete that I’ve used for 5-6 yrs now.
Would it be benefiting for me overall? I’ve never used any store bought stuff before. Am I possibly missing out on something I don’t have covered? I have adapted a lot over the years researching and expanding my crafting of ferments. Thoughts y’all? I really think I need to rip a dab and go water.

I’m always torn between not fixing things that aren’t broken and needing to know if I’m missing out on something good. You are probably light years ahead of where someone needing this would be. I wouldn’t sweat it.

I appreciate the response. That was my thought, but in weighing the cost of microbes ($45/4oz) plus EM (est $3/L) makes me consider it. I’m running low on microbes, and those are my biggest expense in growing. They just don’t list the amounts in that Microbe+ product. Also, there’s no info on expiration. If this is like EM1, and contains water, then the shelf life would be 6 mos from manufacture. That makes this a moot point.

Found some premo oak in the pile that has softened, and it’s been eaten by fungi and bugs. Nice fungal fingers developed, and I even scooped a couple worms up from inside this time. Began a fungal brew

Damn dog is takin liberties with my food lately. I ate the top off a 110-115 Mg habanero espresso death by chocolate jumbo muffin. I got up to do a dab, and he was finishing the crumbs after.
Enjoy that ride. That’ll teach him not to snatch my food damnit! Although, he is hard headed…

I estimated he got 80-85 Mg dose. He’s gonna need plenty food and water. He’s already cottonmouth’d but content. I think this is the largest dose that he’s ever snatched. I’m mad, but just as stoned as he is; so it’s a quite comical wash.

by this point it’s not like he knows what he did anyway. one of my brother’s cats did the opposite. Got up to get a snack after making a big pile of reclaim then the cat stepped on it and licked his paws clean. He probably ate a quarter G of it by the time we found him. Poor dude is still a little off to this day.
