I sorta forgot about the Lions Mane blocks. I lost one experiment to mold. The LC rescue I made got a contam about 9 days in. Musta been on the lid, cause right after shaking, black started growing on the surface a day later. Both were tossed over my rose bed bark. That LC was loaded with spores.
Tonight I “shook” the bag on the right, again. It looked like the middle bag does beforehand. I wanted to see if that made a difference on final yield.
The bag on the left looks to have a minor contam folded into the top bit of plastic, but it appears to be isolated off. I should be able to wipe it away with an alcohol paper towel prior to inducing fruiting.
The temps have been in the mid-high 70’s and rainy. Supposed to cool down on Wednesday though. Gonna do a 2 day cold shock in the fridge before initiating pinning.
Had more wasted grains from a bad run, but this time it occurred to me to make Bokashi with them.
Gonna be using this as my inoculant for the fermented chicken feed. I repurpose and reuse whatever I can

Everybody up, but probably gonna cull an SR already. It’s slow, deformed and contorted. Don’t have time for a random, quirky, seed. I may let it ride a few more days because I may be gettin a package.

Had to deal with family obligations the last couple days. Got home to very low humidity in dome. Lost a SR seedling to it.
Quickly added a mushroom humidifier into the tent to get chit straight fur tonight. Left the lid open till I get the fan going inside. The cord is wired into another tent that this one sits outside of. Will deal with it tomorrow. I hurt from the drive.

Is the fitting on lid for toilet floor flange?

Not sure what the fitting is, but it is some type of flange. Just went to a Home Depot and got what fit a 4” duct. Wish I would’ve got a couple more, never seen them at my local one.

Here’s a closer look at the fitting. I’ve searched online trying to find the name of the plumbing part. So far, I haven’t found another (2 piece) one, like I have here.
Lmk if anybody has a name or part number.

Sonic fogger went out sometime today. Tent dropped to 42 rH when I caught it at lights on. Popped in a new ceramic disk, as always, but it wouldn’t come back on. I grabbed a new, backup, unit off the shelf. That damn one wouldn’t work either. I fukd around with getting things running until it started working. Once it hit its mark and shut down, it never fired back up again. Well fuq! Ended up taking one out of another humidifier, just now. Guess I need 3 more, damnit, but at least I have 40+ replacement disks.

This was the most informative thread i have read to date. Took me longer with just under 500 posts but thats because theres actually a crap ton of information and not just pictures. Absolutely loved this read and everything you have shared with the community. Truly amazing one has so much knowledge
Ima try making my own bokashi from your directions and video posted early on in the thread and add it to my veggie garden for the summer. definitely gona keep tagging along. Hopefully i can retain it all got almost 10 posts bookmarked for reference later on. Thanks for sharing
