Dont koreans use “Night Soil” aka “KNF” aka human excrement!!!
Im not sure what they do in Korea re night soil
Im in nz and live off grid and operating a composting toilet.
Soil and sawdust added each donation and when full is stored for 2 years.
Generally the final product i call black gold full of worms is used when planting trees.
Im really interested to know if anyone has grown there cannabis plants in this medium.
I have started adding a small amount to my usual soil build.
I really cant see there to be anything negative using this on going free resource other than the thought of what it once was.
After 2 years breaking down its just a very rich dark soil.
I guess getting it lab tested would give the breakdown of its npk and other trace elements and minerals.
Or just fill a 10 gal bag and plant a seed see how it grows.
May grow some good weed.

Two years sounds good to me, and if it’s a part of your build vs your full medium, that can make a difference too… if it was too anaerobic or had too much bad stuff I’m sure the worms wouldn’t be there.

At thw moment this summer just gone grow i used a few scoops of it per mix.
Love to get it tested for sure.
Each human donation a polite way of putting it there is equal parts broken down sawdust and equal parts mushroom compost which is top shelf compost with a straw base does look like horse manure is added as one of the ingredients and also im guessing the byproduct from the hop harvesting done round the area.
Its literally black and very rich homus.
I usually add a potion of it to my soil mix when i make it.
There is bugger all sign none actually that someone taken multiple dumps in it with the finished product.

Don’t be someone spreading false information. The forums are full of it. You clearly have done no research before commenting. Budbrother has taught us so much since we have started using Living Soil. Please do a little research on human manure.
Here, in North America it isn’t legal for human consumption, in developing countries sure you’d maybe find this.
@MattyBear @dbrn32 maybe we can remove that comment to avoid false information being spread. How can people trust advice on the forums when people are throwing around comments out of their butt like this.

Little do you know potentially, they’ve been using nightsoil for centuries over there… Living soil dont mean KNF, KNF could be considered a way of feeding living soil. They use there feces and eat veggies from such. Its just facts.
I think it’s fairly well documented that Korean government has instructed residents to use human excrement as fertilizer. But I don’t think it’s regarded as proper and taught korean natural farming method either.
@CkNugz if you have a specific question related to subject matter i’m sure Budbrother and others would help if possible. If just dropping by with statements I don’t really feel that contributes to the conversation in a positive manner.

@Hoppiefrog the FR4 is on the right. She performs better being a monster crop. Lights up high with plenty of pinching and super cropping, things are beginning to take shape.

You know I’m always happy to help my friend. I know talking to me usually gets WAY involved. All the connections to the soil food web that come into play, and they burst out of me like a bad fish taco.
I wasn’t gonna comment on the KNF=💩 statement.
Hu-nure is used in impoverished countries. Programs running in Africa leave it to compost for 5-6 years before being approved for food production.

Not trying to dog anyone for whatever way they chose to grow…, Just saying the use of biosolids aka sewage sludge has been used for potentially over 10,000 years and still is to this day., They even dump it on “Hot” aka untreated for consumable products in those areas.
Dr Chao, inventor of KNF, doesn’t teach its use. I’m done with this useless none sense.
Anybody else wants to post on that specific topic, can do it on their own damn thread!

Yup first world countries have banned it due to all the disease and pathogens and pharmaceutical residues or just straight up synthetics that get passed along.
And I expect without wasting any time on this topic that even in Africa they would likely not use this on food production unless they are literally in the desert too far from any other obtainable nutrient source, so likely literally a last and worst case scenario. If you want to research it just check out what health Canada or the USA equivalent have to say about it haha it will terrify you and make you feel dirty I guarantee it

Gonna close out the grow log. I now have 7 of 8 plants into bags. Been vaporizing on the first 3 that I bagged this weekend. So far, Fire Terps and potency. One particular rips me great. Full body melt and vibrate. Another one is absolutely tasty. As expected, extremely low yields.
I forgot to snap any pix until the last two. Basically they shared this same bud structure.
