LOL it’s all good some strains eventhough auto have longer flowering times if you got a random freebie seed it could be any strain let her go and see what she does
bend it pull the top down or pinch this will let the top flop to a lower height exposing other nodes to better light when the pinch heals it will actually improve nutrient flow. Sativas are tall and can easily double or triple in size during stretch by training the top back down it slows the climb some
That was my plan until I smoked and wondered why it looked so much taller, thankfully I have the room to accommodate her height if need be but cheez and rice she is gonna be taller than me soon if she doesn’t stop it already LOL. Yeah so tomorrow my plan is to throw some more seeds in pots as you read above, I can still go ahead and plant them? And thank you so much for talking me off the ledge LOL I was seriously in a panic wondering what I should do.
Now you are scaring me, bend it lol excuse me for getting ready to sound like a girl but I did this pinch thing to my last grow and it made the knuckle, is that what you are talking about by bending?
I’m sure @bob31 Bob will drop in shortly and have some sound advise for you
I was wondering about pulling it down but I didn’t know what to attach it to and I was scared I would mess something off since I haven’t taken any bottom leaves off because someone said don’t take any off the autos since they are autos. so I haven’t, I mean I have taken some of the bottom stuff off so they wouldn’t sit in the water but I haven’t done any tricks mostly because I scare myself, I broke a big top off last grow, I thought my man was going to skin me, then I tried to tape it up, I even put some pine tree sap on it in hopes to heal it.
If it is still stretching the limb will feel supple and look green then it will simply redirect it’s top back towards light again. The stem needs to have some flex to it if it does pinch stalk between thumb and fingers twist back and forth slightly like rolling a joint you will hear cracking it’s normal the stem will limply bend without breaking or snapping off (firm but gentle
if you scroll up a to the set of pics I tagged you in, that second pic from the bottom where you can see how tall it is, how far down would I “pinch it”,
if you look to the top left of the pic, you can see the other light, this lady is taller than that light
@Donaldj when should I pinch her? before the lights go out at 1am or when they wake up tomorrow morning when the lights come back on ?
while lights on or off doesn’t matter I would pinch about 6 nodes from top
Ok, I am done asking so many questions, thank you so much again for your help. I love this site and this is why. I used to have a teacher who held my hand through my grows and mostly did things for me but he is no longer with us and I am left to my own devices, sometimes it gets me in trouble. I am going to see if I can search for foxtailing, it was mentioned earlier in my post here so I want to see what that means as I am sure its not a simple answer
@doodlebug sorry, I had a really long day yesterday and i called it a night earlier than usual. Rule #1 stay way from the plants when high! LOL A light buzz is ok!
I read back through the posts and @Donaldj is right is she is flowering on 18/6 she is an auto. A Stubborn auto but an auto none the less.
I will be home all day today and tonight so when you get back in here please tag me here and we can chat! Have a great day!
@bob31, I am out of panic mode and took Donaldj words to heart, its an auto LOL, this morning I am going to carry on with my plan to add more dirt to the current ladies whose roots are showing and then throw in some Auto seeds for my next grow. I will be back later, I hope you have a good day and thanks for getting back to me, would love to chat with you.
Ok Kiddo tag me here or in the garden. Looking forward to seeing that greenhouse finished!
Lol I have to do that today too thanx for reminding me
Hi everyone it’s been about 15 days since I’ve posted a picture and somehow this lady still looks the same as she did 15 days ago I’m wondering if I need to switch her 12/12 lighting, she’s ginormous
@bob31 @Countryboyjvd1971 @M4ur @Fever @Donaldj @garrigan62 any words of hope for me, discouragement us upon me. Please look at the pics above this post. 109 days since they popped out of the soil.
