I use Geneeral Organics Go Box, I also add flora micro for hard water to the water and cal mag . Nute schedule is wierd, literally once. Week. But between the week I just add water, micro flora and cal mag. Next grow I am going to try and use a powder nut system.

Why are the roots showing?

hi everyone, its been a minute but that’s my life. so the above post with pics were taken this morning. I wanted to tag all of you but I couldn’t remember anyones names except for 1, so here I tag you, in hopes someone can tell me how will I know they are ready to pull? as I realize the ones with all the white hairs aren’t ready LOL, I felt I needed to clarify that one. a couple of them look ready is all I am wondering, I mean do they leaves turn yellow and fall off like growing regular seeds, however I have been doing maintenance every few days before work and pulling the leaves that were yellow but honestly I haven’t had time to give them any nutes, not for about 3 weeks, just water, cal mag and the hard water FLora stuff I use, seriously tho, I didn’t know what nutes schedule to follow for growing Autos, so I just wung it LOL, from the looks of things, they are doing fine, I haven’t lost anyone yet, ive been giving them like a half a gallon (they are in 4 gallon pots) every few days but that’s its, maybe that’s why one of them looks so angry LOL, anyway. that’s my story. please scroll up to the post before this one and there are my pics.

I’m growing a Fruit Punch Auto as well, so your journal has been an interesting read. My plant surprised me by staying tiny and not growing much until it went into flower. Then it really took off! Just for comparison, here’s mine about 2 days ago. She was above ground on August 20, and she still has a ways to go to finish:

Hi,thanks for reading my journal. Your lady looks small like mine. I am going to follow you so I can see your progress. I am going to let the ladies be for a week or so, then check them again but I find as I am getting up there in age, I cant see the trichs like I used to LOL. They all look clear to me LOL.

Yeah, mine is only 9 inches tall but pretty bushy. Get a headband with a magnifying glass. I’m older too and it sure helps with lots of tasks.
@doodlebug that’s a nice range of plants. Should be some interesting smoke!
I did see one of yours had some roots showing? Cover them with some soil if you haven’t already.

not sure what foxtailed is, but if its anything like it sounds, doesnt sound all cute and cuddly LOL. My temps are between 78-80 here lately more like 78F. night time after the lights go out, around currently 80F, 67% humidity

Yes, I have some new dirt I got today, it’s sitting out to dry over night, I like to let the dirt breath for a day before I use it as I an planning on putting some new seeds in pots tomorrow. I am going to cover the roots that are showing.

Am I crazy or is this a photo seed? in the state of High I am in, I was looking at my ladies a bit ago and am wondering, since its a ? seed with no label thrown in with a bunch of Fruit punch Autos, 6 to be exact, and 2 surprise seeds, I was told they were all Auto, so if you have been keeping up with my journal here, I put the seeds in the dirt on july 8, under 24/7 light, by July 11 they had popped out and on july 13 they went to 18/6 light schedule, have been since then, that makes it 3 months today. I started seeing flowers by July 29, which comes to 76 days according to my math and my grow calendar notes. 8 plants, 7 of them obvi from the pictures from yesterday they are looking amazing in my eyes, except for that tall scrawny one, that has little buds as you can see from these pictures in this post. its possible that I have planted a photo seed, among the autos, ok fine, it is what it is but my concern is its been on an 18/6 light schedule for 3 months. if that is a photo seed, wtf? do I throw it into 12/12 light schedule? clearly, if that is the case, I will have to start on nutes for flower stage, again no biggy BUT, ive got the other 7 plants who ARE autos and I was hoping to start new seeds tomorrow, one of which is a Photo seed, the other 9 are autos,but I know this going in, I also know once the seeds pop I can throw them into 18/6 then throw them down to 12/12 light schedule. these were given to me so I didn’t choose the seeds, there are 5 different types , some have 3 seeds, some have 1. Please help with my concundrum. Thank you
It’s an auto or wouldn’t be in flower it is likely Sativa Dom meaning a slower/longer flowering period

all I know is I keep raising the lights, no lie its 4 ft tall lol, the rest are 2 ft tall
