Seems like it is getting worse. Any thoughts???
Hi! Welcome to ILGM!
Sorry so late but u got plenty help ![]()
One thing i noticed that wasnt listed⌠are you supplementing calmag? Jefe mentiond a cal deficiency. Looks like it to me. The wonky ph may have been the culprit. You said u went in at 6.5 the last water/feed. What was ur runoff then?
Yes adding about 4ml per gallon of water. Have been using distilled. Run off last time was 5.6ph
Run off PH of 5.6 is very low
@PurpNGold74 @elheffe702 will be able to help
And VOILA! You have a nute lockout due to to pH out of range
In soil the optimum pH for growing reefer is 6.3-6.8⌠(whereâs my chart!) it allows the plant to intake different macro n micro nutes. So i recommend an all properly pHâd water flush.
How do u flush? Say you have a 5 gallon pot. Youâd prepare 25 gallons of 6.5 water. N drown her in it! Check runoff after each gallon. I actually check ph n ppm of runoff because that could be an issue. Once sheâs in range, give her a day or so to dry out. And start her feed back at around half strength. Because ur gonna have a hungry lady
Hereâs a chart purp

Thanks. Forgot to paste it
Oh boy this shoulda scary. Lol just to make sure I understand I add all 25 gallons in one feeding?
Yessir. No feeding. Straight properly pHâd water. Shouldnt take all 25 but u wanna have it at the waiting if needed. Just continually check runoff pH.
Yeah, I agree, probably time for a flush. Itâs tedious and time consuming, but it is what it is. Keep in mind, the leaves that are damaged wonât get any better. Watch the new growth, and it should look healthier.
Ok flush done. That was almost a spiritual experience lol.
Ph run off is now 6.0
Tds is 165
Good?
Yeah, thatâs much better. Let them dry out now, and at the next feeding, adjust to 6.5 and keep watching the runoff. Youâll probably see the pH start to gradually climb, just adjust as needed.
25 gallons @ 6.5 and ur still at 6?? ![]()

Next watering go in at 6.8 we really wanna get that closer in range. But like Jefe said let her dry out. Thats a ton of water
PH is OK. On the other hand. The value of EC cannot be a greater number than the PPM. Just FYI. Perhaps you left out a decimal point. ![]()
