This is my first year growing and everything seems to be OK until lately. I have just been doing water and Compost tea minus the molasses (didn’t know about that ingredient).
Anyway lately I’m getting a lot of brown spots on fan leaves and/or yellowing. Mostly brown spots. I just got a PH meter for my soil and most are running about 7-7.2. They’re in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, 3 gallon pot grown outside where we’re having Temps in the mid-high 90s and lots of sun - it’s really hot in South Alabama right now.

Haven’t got a PH meter for runoff yet. Have it on order.
PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
Had been using only compost tea without molasses. Using Chicken Manure Compost only after sitting for a week.

Pretty new issue last 2 weeks max. Since we had all the rain come through because of the hurricanes. Didn’t have to water for a bit. Using city water from hose and/or plastic watering can.
Unfortunately that inexpensive prong style meter is useless when it comes to pH accuracy. You need something a little better. Usually $30-$50.
The spots appear to be lensing burns from water droplets and direct sunlight. Don’t mist your plants at this point and try not to spill water/nutes on them.
Might be some pests. Look closely under the leaves.
It could possibly be something else, but proper pH and runoff numbers would be needed to dx.
Yes I’m getting that now. Haven’t had any issues before now so hadn’t gotten testers etc. This is my first grow so it has been a HUGE learning experience.
