My advice would be, before doing anything else, read about the whole process. Once you have done that you can then make the same mistakes we all made lol.
There are numerous choices when it comes to lighting. Personally I went with LED’S as they are cooler than HPS /MH and more efficient. That said, there is a world of difference between cheap and expensive. COB led’s seem to be the best tech and you want to watch for ACTUAL WATTS USED. Once you have that value you can calculate how much for the space you will need. Same applies for the other light technologies out there.

There is tons more to indoor growing than lights. Join the forum and we can work with you to help figure out what you need to do etc.
