I have the HLG600r how bright should I have it on seedlings and in the picts you can see how close it is to plants.
Is that the correct distance?

Even used, your lamp could be better than my 350R (and possibly 260 added). 600watts x2.75=1650 (too much for seedlings).
Requires Kil-a-wat meter for load measuring.
More stuff to buy and more to learn.

My guess, full on your light is 550wattsx2.5 (or better)=1350 or more on max.

Do I need those things if they are being moved outdoors as soon as they are ready?
How long do I leave the clear cup over the seedlings?
I have a few that are tall and several short—they were all done on the same day.
My light is barely turned on and they seem to be doing ok??
When do I put a fan on low around them to make them stronger?

All purpose flour works for grasshoppers and kills them pretty fast! Sprinkle on plants.
As far as squirrels, I have a beagle named Crabby Abby that’s a squirrel hunter and does pretty good😁

16 days above ground from seed.
Tomorrow will start moving outside for several hours a day then repot in 20gal grow bags for Outdoor Grow.
