Foxfarm fertilizer vs Miracle-Gro

Welcome to the forum and we are all here to help! I have a couple of things to add: if you want to get anyone’s attention, use their handle with the @ sign in front of it like this: @dbrn32 that was a fantastic post and I can see why Will wanted to save it! Bravo!

Second; let’s start a Support Ticket to see exactly what you have going on with soil, lights, etc. Please be as complete as possible and in particular tell us what soil you’re using if not MG, how you PH your water and with what tool do you measure it etc.

To create a grow support ticket we need some basic information to help diagnose the issue.

COPY/PASTE the below list into your forum post.
Answer these simple questions the best you can.
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so = NA

Strain; Type, Bag seed, or NA

Soil in pots, Hydroponic, or Coco?

System type?

PH of runoff or solution in reservoir?

What is strength of nutrient mix? EC, or TDS

Indoor or Outdoor

Light system, size?

Temps; Day, Night

Humidity; Day, Night

Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size

AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,

Co2; Yes, No

If you can, upload a picture of your plant. It helps the diagnosis, if needed.

Add anything else you feel would help us give you a most informed answer. Feel free to elaborate, but short, to the point questions and facts will help us help you

Hearing what you said give us hope. I can’t wait to extract oil…
Thank you and I wish you and your wife the best as well!

Thank you for the suggestion. I will open the support ticket when I run into issues in the future.

@Countryboyjvd1971

Fox and Farm soil may contain bugs and has been known to be on the hot side.
That`s why I make my own soil mix. : .

@garrigan62 I agree with the bugs and soil
Being hot i was referring to the liquid trio nutrients not the soils but thanks for pointing that out for the members

My prayers are with you and your family.

Chemdawg has been known to help chemo patients. Perhaps you could try some of that.

With our MMJ laws, it may as well still be illegal…

More or less the same boat that I am in. The folks here will help you learn the ropes and if you follow the advice given, you have a great chance of success.

When we get to harvest we will see if it helps my wife with her cognitive issues, recently diagnosed and apparently no real treatment, maybe cannabis will help. At worst she will be more relaxed about it, I hope.

Drop in on my first grow for a visit…and belated welcome to the forum @THCCBD

I haven’t read this whole post, but my first couple grows, I used MG all purpose and came out with a couple nice plants. I mean, lots of CFLs, no pH meter nothing, and my stuff turned out decent

I am sorry to hear about your wife’s illness. Are you planning on extracting oil from the plants or just use it? That is what I am planning to get out of the plants. Yeah, I can wait until its time to harvest.
Your growing area sounds nice. I will visit 'first grow…" and check things out. I am slowly catching up this forum. So much good information…

Thank you for your support @THCCBD, at this point just smoking it and making cannabutter for edibles. I will look into oil extraction.
