Found a seed in a Dosidoe nug

Can anyone help me identify weather it’s male or female? I noticed that the stem is different than my autos I’ve had as a seedling

Maybe in 6-10 weeks you will know.

If you NEED to know sooner, Google farmer freeman sex testing.

Also, where did you get those pots?

Most females will throw identifying sex pistils after a few weeks. It indicates they are ready to flower when you are. Other than genetics testing, you can really only wait until it’s ready to flower. If you want to veg for a while, and have the space and resources, you can cut a clone and throw it on 12/12.

@Neeley7, are you saying that one seed came from a seed bank, and the other seed came from a bud that you grew?
If the seed came from your grow. It was probably due to unnoticed herm activity. A seed produced by pollen from a herm will be a female. But the plant may carry the herm trait. So you will need to a close eye on it after it is blooming.

The pots are solo cups sprayed with undercoat and holes drilled in the bottom. Made them very sturdy and reusable👍.

Also the seed came from a dispensary bought nug.

Also thanks everyone for the quick response. I’m very new to growing and have yet to complete one so I’ve got high hopes lol

Most likely a hermied plant in their grow, commercial grows would cull any male plants far before any male flowers opened, so more than likely a female/female genes. But like any hermie seed also carries the ability to herm itself so watch her closely during flower. I have grown hermied seeds with no problems tho. They look nice and healthy, keep up the good work man :+1:
