Can you all help me to understand when to foliar spray and when to wait for the next watering ?
@steve2,tks again, have been trying to find out exactly what’s in these bottles from stores, but none seem to show the ingredients,is it just cal mag in yours or trace elements aswell.?are there compost teas for coco or hydro grows aswell as most seem to be for soil,or can you use them in coco aswell,?
before the light go on - best time to foliage spray - this is because of the plants 's up-take (ps - make sure you spray the undersides of the leaves this is were the “stoma’s” are that UP-TAKE THE NUTRIENTS
Dutch Master makes a foliage feed that is ready to go. I assume most companies have a version too!
you have to look up the companys site and read throu the msds to findout ingrediance
foliar spraying is its own thing you water as usual, but if it damp enough you can spray for the watering. woodcucks eat my squash leaves i sprayed them with fish fertilzer every day they grew there leaves back and and still havesting them it was the first time i ever saved a plant that lost all its leaves im a believer now
I have 1 out of my 3 flowering plants that has a nute lockout. I’m fixing the ph but could foliar spray help in the meantime while I wait for the medium to dry?
it might, be sure that it is for bloom. it may need cal-mag
extreme Gardening has a very good on call “cal-mag” you can get it in their sample pack of products (cost $15.00) this company is one of the top in root developing products - I rate it with Great white then Extreme gardening. suggest you get the sample pack you will not regret it and then you will always used their products (must get it from their site (extreme gardening.com)
@ktreez420 whatz up. N.E. coast. Was reading an old thread saw your right up my alley. 215? 267? We arent far apart.
610 actually! But close to 215. And 420 all day!
Saw this topic thought I post applying greenkleen powdery mildew prevention had been using regular sprayer found this for 10.00 figured coverage would be better think it works great prop plants up and gets under side better than anything I’ve uesd
What’s up all, my first run at a life long dream. Gotta say we’re all blessed to grow and share! I love the effects of folier spraying and I’m planning on spraying the fan leaves, stems and take extreme caution avoiding all bud sites a few weeks into flower. Any-thoughts?
I don’t recommend spraying your plants in flower unless absolutely necessary. Excess moisture can get into the buds and cause rot. I would only spray my plant in flower if I had pests
