So typically u always want to follow the breeders or banks guidlines . i ordered my 1st pack over 2 yrs ago from you guys and because of you guarantee and prompto customer service i return time n time again, as i get better i strive to push the envolope and be the best cultivator i can.
So my qyestion is you suggest that the MK 's flowering time is 56 days is that 7 weeks flowering 1 week ripening and 1 week flush or what are you basing that off. ive got mixed reviews. a 56 flowering strain if you flush one week and i was told to start day 49 2 weeks you would start day 35/ well im in luck because i grow hydroponic i shouldn’t need more then a week.so when you guys say 56 and i also know its dependent on the plant that 56 is average but are you guys including the ripening and flush week in those 56 days or do i run 7 weeks 8th to day 56 is ripening and after 8 weeks i flush or how do you guys calculate your flowering time???
on a side note for higher tiered member’s or a true VIP section do you have more exotics and rare strains available? your inventory has grown 10 fold since my 1st purchase as i get deeper into the industry people disregard the classics and want the newest strongest m sticky trichome covered and flavored strains. Exclusive and elusive strains u will only see once.
ILGM isn’t going to see this post. My advice is to pay very little heed to the breeder’s estimates; your results will vary. Instead, gauge maturity by trichome coloration.
As far as VIP stuff goes, I have no reason to believe they are holding anything back. They don’t even include testers as freebies like other seedbanks. I don’t think you’re missing out on anything.
kinda false advertisement then dont you think keystone ?? “have questions ask out experts” ya i kno ive been ordering from ILGM for couple years now, on the plus side instead of testers they guarantee germination or they will replace it and my 1st order ever 4 out of 5 duds they said which i know is an upsale but fine by me, said we can get you those 4 out right away or place an order and we will still give you 4 to replace the failed ones as well as 6 more free. so of course i ordered again. typically i go off trichrome, about 20-30 % amber , but i was self taught from what ive read hydroponics didnt need to flush , 100% organics perhaps but im not organic, need a bit better gauge because it can happen quickly 2 plants same strain same pack same everythiing althought plant #2 has been a bit slow as far as color goes and i went off trichomes on plamt #1 aswell as pistil color, reason my ec is so low i had already dumped everything . so im putting just lite lite ripening nutes in light base bloom sweetner liquid pk booser during week 8.
So what do you do is your flush part of your flowering time or when you see you trichs and pistils or hairs at what % do you flush? i want TROPICANA POISON F! version still photoperiod just flowers in 49 days beautiful red buds, ive only ever seen purps blues greens
Im also soon to move to MI ill meet you w.e would love to test trials. know its nothing new but i recently discovered Australian bastard cannabis. look so weird 90 percent of cultivators and even people who live there dont even know they have it in their back yard , or pink man goo the buds actually when flowering create and i secrete natually resin drops right on the bud , but i have found there are other ways other then this one strain to achieve this
Do I think they’re guilty of false advertising? Is this something you really care about?
Anyway, if I’m growing hydroponically, I look for ripeness at multiple locations on the plants. Once satisfied that they’re ripe, I do give them plain water only during a 72 hour dark period before harvest. I do not like the term “flushing” because you are not cleansing the plant of anything. It might elicit a mild stress response in some cultivars, so that’s why I do it.
I also taper the EC down over the last 2-3 weeks on successive runs using the same clones (when applicable). It sometimes helps the stubborn plants to hurry up, and they seem to pull mobile nutrients from fan leaves.
If you’re moving to Michigan you’re going to find a fantastic cultivation culture. You’ll be able to buy seeds locally, but more importantly you’ll be able to buy clones.
@KeystoneCops i am hydro (rdwc) as well and i never understood the flush since im not in coco or soil until you explained it, mine are ready ive been waiting for some color change in the fan leaves and im gettin a little yellowing or gold and ive got the ec down to .3 everyone says ph the water but thats just adding salts to the water i didnt understand that as well and all ph does is allow at certain levels for the the plant to absorb the nutrient… well then looks like i will be going dark after this 12 hr light period ill be going black for 72 hrs … i do have a 1st gen clone thats on day like 11 of flower its not a big deal if it will but do you think the 72 hrs will have an affect on her ? as i didnt have room in the smaller tent when i flipped them. In smaller tent i have clone in flips 2nd gen basically experimental tent as all the hype about coco i wanted to try it along with fabric pots its like soil / hydro for kindergartners lol as the fabric pots i vegged a plant 120 days in a 1 gal and never got root bound or any circling, what you get is just one coco ball your cannot break. That being said ive never done a “pot” or plastic container grow and soil seemed like rocket science to me. i just wanted to be more versatile, you name it i can do it consistent quarter sized nugs cali style done, large bottle sized colas done , so what was next coco , which are rooted and flipped from i think the youngest was just short of weeks and the oldest 5 but they were in solos so they didnt get much bigger as the cup did not allow them. was supposed to be a mini sog run thats one thing i hadnt done came across a sour diesel seed i swore was female showed true sex day 6 of flower so all that time from seed and cloning out the window oh well.
Im not yet familiar with Michigan yet i do have a family member as well as a x co worker that moved back home up there but thats it … was a coin toss between there and cali , as i was goin to join a friend who just opened his 3rd op and is doing well. but before anything the price id pay to rent someones house i can buy in Michigan and good new i have one on the line they countered all we have to do is agree on a number basically … ima freeze my a** off as i havent seen snow in over 20 yrs, real cold canada last year as my wife has never seen it we just got there a week late after a fall and just after we left it fell again
when i flew up in July earlier this year really didn’t see anything main stream besides the HTG supply in Lansing i had to stop and take a look.
side note my lights turned on at 9pm its now 330 am would it hurt to lights off now 72 hrs or finish the cycle. and with my green led continue swapping water out until EC is almost nil ? or let it ride its at .3 with a ph of 5.7-5.8.
i was goin to just do rez change 100 % RO ec .02 well i did do it but as i didnt like the ripness of some of the bottoms and goin from 1.8 1.9 ec where they were sitting happy with no ph flux to ec of .02 (leveled out at .4 as there are massive rootballs)they exploded over night so i went backup slightly to .6 .7 and just maintained a ph of 5.9 -6 now all are ripe (originally just thought my scrog was so tight lack of light penetration but as both were from seed one was just a bit slower then the other. but probably would have had better results tapering it.
It’s important to adjust EC as gradually as possible because the plants have to waste resources adjusting their internal chemistry in order to deal with the new EC. It’s just my opinion, but I’d rather that the plants are as productive as possible when the lights are on, especially in that last period of light before harvest.
I can’t say how your clone will react to 72 hours of darkness. it shouldn’t die, and there’s no reason for it to hermaphrodite, but some cultivars are sensitive to the most minor stresses.
HTG is an okay store. They sell a lot of things that are absolutely valuable and necessary as loss leaders, so they can get you to browse the hyped up overpriced gimmicks. They have the best prices on pots, tables, trays, foam ties, and plumbing that I’ve come across, and that includes online retailers. But they also push knockoff LEDs and Bud Candy Turbo Boost XXXL Snakeoil.
Not familiar with that one, horizen hydroponics is the one I typically frequent if I need anything. As far as nutrients go, I am using Jacks Nutrients, and a lot of other members are as well. It’s a dry nutrient, so it needs to be mixed, but you’re not paying for water.
Southwest corner of the mitten here.
@Covertgrower they are a big supply store they even have 2 locations where im currently at thi an hr and 40 mins away anways the selling agent d*icked us around I even came up 10k ended up so passed its an investment as my wife will stay here either way we look at it. I think just got a little too attached so yesterday put an offer on another 4th times the charm?? Fingers crossed. And @KeystoneCops yea I was just up there visiting the sales man or lady looking like a man lol I’m just lookin as I’m flying back home and they guide u to the most marked up items they have. And I asked questions I knew the answer to and she was way off told me right there she has no clue just selll the most expensive version of w.e line of products I was lookin at.
And keystone I seen you comment on another thread about the dual hose ac, typically where im at we don’t see these Temps but once for maybe a week out of the whole year another reason I go from 9pm to 9am … but its currently 48 degrees and 62% RH supposed to hit 39 tonight. And like I said we don’t see this until Jan-Feb and one week might. So my question is I have my ac in my tent heat vents out window intake from outside tent in room which is 67degrees. Sobit does have auto cool fan dry and heat settings and just before I had the dehuey inside the tent as well but as im trying to slow and cold 2 week dry n cure I pulled dehuey out and its in room on auto so I’m at 67 / 52. But inside the tent im running co2 and inknow ill al ways loose some but which setting is best because it does have larger screen filter on unit which it pulls from but can I make so only pulls from intake, minimizing draw and exhaust from inside so not to loose too much co2?
