First year in the Cannabis industry

I just hit my first year anniversary working in the weed industry in Colorado and I gotta say I could not ask for a better job.

I do not work on the retail side. I work in the farming side of the industry and the two biggest things I love about it are that A. I learn new stuff every day. This industry has so much to offer in the area of knowledge it is insane and for a book worm like me I absolutely love it.

The other thing is the blending of people. Not to get into politics but I am very much a small govt pro freedom minded individual and what still amazes me is the amount of like minded people I work with.

2023 has been very kind to me job wise and 2024 is looking to be even better.

Congratulations, tell us, are you able to make a decent living at this job? Or, do you have to have two jobs?

I do ok as a one off job and no for the moment I dont need a second job.

Great question lol every position I saw when I was looking a year or so ago was minimum wage maybe slightly better. @Africanplainstrain congrats on finding one that you can live on! Iā€™m jealous!
